This episode goes a long way to humanize Patrick, he can come off like a super cool character that is just too perfect given all he has been through. The reveal that he had a mental breakdown after what happened to his family helps make him such a more well rounded character.
This is an interesting take. Well said. Although I never thought he was a perfect character and to me him working with them shows he wants to solve what happened to his family and he’s willing to do whatever to do so. It obviously took a toll. I do like the background. The red John his family storyline the best part of the show to me.
If anything I think it made Lisbon see him as human.
This episode has one of my favorite Patrick quotes: " She couldn't kill anyone unless they told her to in a firm, commanding voice."

could be a squatter. pretty sure there are enough rundown houses, where a homeless guy could break in to find shelter for the night.

Maybe you've talked about it and I missed it, but did you give up on "12 Monkeys" reactions. I know copyrights can be a bitch for that show and I understand if that's the reason you stopped. Just Wondering. If not for reactions, did you at least continue on your own? It's, in my opinion, the best and most underrated time travel show. Sadly I don't think enough people saw it and there's not enough reactions to it 😕
