@@TheSuperf12 The devs in the discord said that the game will not "remember" kang and he does not count as the last card played (he disappers completely ). Absorbing man will copy the card played before kang if it had an on reveal ability.

I think it's so funny that Kang, a being that can time travel and knows of the multiverse gets full countered by a dog in a space suit

Honestly I think the people trying to make it work will suffer more than those they get it to work against. They spend 30 minutes for someone to retreat in 30 seconds.
I'm starting to believe that Second Dinner has put card releases above Quality Assurance testing. This exploit is something that any well invested QA team would have caught given enough time and resources to do....... OR Second Dinner knew this exploit existed, but released it anyways before knowing they needed to patch it, but testing and releasing a fix would take to long and they needed to stick with the release schedule... I don't know which is worst.
I have to say I was also disappointed by some of the execution on the animations and "feel" of playing the card. The big full screen animation looks good, but there's a weird hangup when he's lasering the end turn, cards seem to hang up a bit in the new turn, the pop-ups are janky for the turn swaps. It just felt a bit rushed and clunky somehow.
It reminds me of shudderwock release in hearthstone which was also approved by ben brode.
Managed to crash the game twice with this card already. Once with the swapping decks location allowing me still to rewind time and not sure why the other time.
It’s a collection game. Competitive aspect of the game isn’t the main priority.
Which is fine with me cause Gwent focused mainly on the competitive scene and died because it.
If anyones looking for a competitive card game go play poker.

Best way to deal with the loop I believe is to remove Kang from EVERYWHERE on your side, hand and field, including discard and destroyed piles of he doesn’t already. This avoids any Hela or future Night Nurse/revive destroyed cards problems
I think this is good but i also consider a step farther and do it on both sides to be safe. The reason is if you can "gift" your opponent a Kang, you can also get in to these infinite loops a bit. It would make the mirror more weird and may not be worth the extra cation but it is still possible to do otherwise.
@@ChibiRuah very true, viper and cards like mantis, cable, and white queen could make things even more complicated, but the combo would be even more impossible to pull off regularly cuz your opponent would need to arnim it

Me too, this is the first season I haven't had much fun, and I don't event think it is the game's fault, I just feel like I have lost every single rng interaction, and every single play I have made has been incidentally countered.

Because its a perma season 5 card which is op like thanos and galactus to promote real money spending for tokens/progression to make them more money esp for pool 3 incomplete players that only get 1k tokens a month. This has already been proven since surfer/zabu and this is sadly the direction that the current game is heading to.

This is how it’s suppose to work, time is a tricky thing. Makes sense to me
This reminds me of my old Shudderwock lockout deck where it would give opponent coins, loatheb many times, freeze the whole board and heal both players. Plus animations were taking ages. Odds of reaching that point were tiny, i think i got it like 3 times total of many games since concede was a real button, finding someone willing to sit for more than one cast of Shudderwock was the true challenge.
Later i've made even worse Paladin deck that had animation loop far longer than Shudderwock and if opponent would sit for like 4 turns of the loop (which could take an hour or more) it would crash the game and you could not connect back for some time as error would pop up when trying to connect back to HS (whole game, not the match, could not reach menu). ONCE i've found a guy on ladder willing to sit through that, everyone conceded fast once it reached first animation loop. I know combo was consistent at crashing the game as i've tested it with innkeeper and friend and it would also crash, would crash both players' games. I wonder if it was fixed or does it still crash the game.
If anyone knows, if you Shuri and then Kang, can you then play what you actually want to buff after he disappears.

Maybe his effect should only be allowed to happen once in any game session, and on subsequent rollback turns his ability is removed, or even his card is removed from the board after his effect triggers.

@@SinatoFilms i think odin will mean that kang will erease himself from the game for the next turn, the reason this kang keeps returning is because he did not trigger, he got destroyed and a diferent kang triggered

I don't think so. Even though the board state will remain the same, the absorbing man will disappear from hand after playing it.

I don't believe so, because re-activating THAT Kang's ability would remove THAT Kang. Arnim destroys Kang A, spawning Kang B and C. Kang B would not remove Kang A. Odin re-activates Kang A, removing Kang A. If that makes sense.

odin will meant the kang will remove himself from the game, zola works because the original kang (destroyed by zola) is not removed from the game by the reset
i do not know about the invisible woman thing, maybe it will be like magik, where the game will just end anyway

i already dropped the game. too many randomness and i hate how it take years to get a card. when u get the card it usually trash
I think the progression is ok up to pool 3 complete as even though past cl 1000 it slows down atleast there is still consistent progression. That being said after pool 3 completion it is dogshit especially with the release of broken and permanent pool 5 cards. To top it off since new cards are all released as pool 5 the non broken ones are seeing almost no play since hardly anyone wants to spend 6k tokens for a mediocre card.
Honestly if you can pull this off you deserve to lock the other person in a infinite game loop

@@xboxaddict552 Oh yeah, I understand what they mean now. As Anthony says, real players can't get flares on base cards, only on splits. Currently all splits would have a special background. So if you see a player with a base background that has a flare, it can't be a real player.

They should fire their play testers honestly. And if it's the devs play testing then they need to hire proper people to test it because they are incapable.

How is Kang useful in anyway when daredevil exists?
Daredevil only works on turn 5. The game ends on turn 6. Kang works on turn 6.
Because a Daredevil play is telegraphed, you can choose to play Daredevil on turn 4 at the latest in order for the effect to take place. So both parties know it’ll take place on turn 5. Kang at the very least without cost decrease has to be played on turn 5 or turn 6 meaning his rewind isn’t telegraphed to the opponent. He works very well as a disruption card at a moments notice because the opponents play has been shown alongside its effects and is then removed from play. Essentially, you’ve tricked your opponent into showing their hand, only to take that opportunity away with the knowledge of said play being made known to both players. This then allows for mind games and or disruption or counters from BOTH players because the turn of play resumes without Kang. It’s actually a very cool ability, and allows for more complex mind games as opposed to a simpler more telegraphed Daredevil play on turns 2-4.

Fix for most Kang problems would be for his ability to remove him and all traces of him from everywhere (from opponent deck/hand as well to be sure). Kang was never played nor he was never in that game.

Zach, you and I both know this video emphasizes just how terrible this is at winning, and how stupid it is as a mechanic. No one will be encouraged to do this because of this video, it serves as a discouragement by showcasing how much more you'll suffer by trying to pull it off.
