  • Looking for the best shower head filter to remove contaminants from your water? Look now further than the Crystal Quest Inline Filter, made in the USA. While it's not a household name, it definitely gets a lot of attention from some major businesses. Due to Crystal Quest's state-of-the-art filtration processes, they've been selected as partners by companies like Boeing and NASA!
    In this video, I'm going to discuss the benefits of the Crystal Quest Shower Head Filter, how to install it and how you can replace the shower filter cartridge when it comes time. Don’t skip through, because I’m going to show you an insider tip to prevent this filter from reducing your water pressure.
    You can buy the Crystal Quest Inline Shower Head Filter here:
    The Shower Head Store: www.theshowerheadstore.com/pr...
    Amazon: amzn.to/2oCFbkk
    Since this is an Inline Shower Head Filter, you can use any Shower Head that you’d like with this filter. We highly recommend the All Metal Hand Held Shower Head Set by HammerHead Showers, available here:
    The Shower Head Store: www.theshowerheadstore.com/pr...
    Let's talk about the impressive filtration power of the Crystal Quest Shower Head Filter.
    Using a 3-stage filtration process, the water first passes through ERA-6500 and ERA-9500 media for de-chlorination and to balance the pH. Finally, the water passes through a coconut shell granular activated carbon (GA) which reduces contaminants.
    This process removes chlorine, chloramines, VOC's, THM's, pesticides, sulfur, heavy metals, hydrogen sulfide ("rotten egg" odor), iron oxides ("rust water"), dirt, sediment and other odors, all while balancing the pH!
    These cartridges are reversible, so you can get twice the use out of it compared to regular filter cartridges. It should last you about a year before needing to replace it. You can buy the Crystal Quest Replacement Filter Cartridge here:
    The Shower Head Store: www.theshowerheadstore.com/pr...
    Amazon: amzn.to/2nQ5Nyi
    With all that said, let’s get into the video and show you how easy it is to get the shower head filter set up to purify your water.

    you have lots of videos recommending heads, installing, saving water, etc. i haven't seen a single video of you doing a chemical test strip on ANY of the shower heads you recommend. i see hundreds and hundreds of variations of this exact same thing, a container with a filter, all claiming NSF 42 and 61, 7 stage filter, 15 stage filter, blocks all sunlight for 12 hours, but no data to back them up except the few where users have posted their results. when you do these reviews, can you do test strips in the video to show users that they are actually getting what the box claims? i find it crazy that we can only trust the box that we're not getting a $30-80 box of crap that won't do anything, basically a placebo. i know how easy it is to get a brand and list items on amazon that someone bought from china and is repeating what the manufacturer says it is without any results. i think it would put a lot of weight behind your claims of the "best shower filter" with some actual data to back it up. otherwise, these videos are anecdotal and a waste of everyone's time looking for real information before a purchase. thanks.

    What do you think about Sprite shower filters? Sprite claims activated carbon doesn't filter warm and hot water well, so they don't use it, and instead use their own proprietary filtration media. Sprite is also NSF certified to remove chlorine.

    • @theshowerheadstore
      @theshowerheadstore  Před 2 lety

      We once carried the sprite inline Shower filter, namely; Sprite SL2-CM Slim-Line 2 Universal Shower Filter. Indeed, the Chlorgon Filtration Media is the only non-carbon filtering media to remove Free Chlorine (CI), Combine Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite), Hydrogen Sulfide (Rotten Egg Smell), Iron Oxide (Rust Water), Dirt/Sediment and Odors, all while being Ph balanced. Its also NSF certified. However we no longer carry these, and instead moving forward with the Crystal Quest filter that you can find here: www.theshowerheadstore.com/collections/accessories/products/crystal-quest-inline-shower-head-filter

      @@AlexxKovacs When it comes to shower head filters, there are a lot of false claims out there. Many filters are made overseas and don't have proper testing to confirm they remove what they say they do. Sprite shower filters are NSF certified and made in the USA but especially for Australian conditions. Crystal Quest on the other hand is designed in the USA for our conditions, includes a 3-Stage filtration which uses ERA-6500, ERA-9500 and coconut shell granular activated carbon (GA) for the purest water and is also NSF certified.
