Probably the manufacturer just wanted to play it safe. If ita not loud for you then it should be fine. If its keeping the temps down then its working as intended
I am hitting 80-87 on 3070 rtx, maybe because i ran 3440x1440p. I managed to have it under 80, around 77~ish by undervolting. What are the cons of undervolting? I also set the fan curve to run at 100% once it reaches 80deg.celcius. Is that a bit overkill?

As air should be pulled outside the gpu the hot air should not pushed to the GPU circuit which can cause damage . So it's really good that if you use unconventional way by pulling the air out , please correct me if I am wrong.
