    I would rather have the fans run 100% than have the temps reach the high 80s . I strongly suggest to undervolt if you feel uncomfortable seeing high temps.

      True. Id rather have my fans break which i can replace than have the lifespan of the actual gpu shortened

      @@1anfinity08 I ran my msi gtx1660ti on 100% fans whenever I played heavy games, and the fans still work even after like 3 and half years. Also warranty should cover it anyways, register your card on your manufactures website. Edit for context: I play about 4-6 hours of heavy games everyday, I rather have cool temps since my room temp is hot and subsequently I get hotter temps if my fans aren't running 100%, I also run my aio fans on 100% since I built this pc 4 years ago.

    I thought I was doomed when one of my GPU fan blades snapped while I was cleaning it. Good thing super glue fixed it like nothing happened. lol

    So my fans seem to be running at 1000rpm all the time even when nothing is going on and my PC is idle.Is that a bad thing should I be worried I just noticed that it was doing this three days ago it wasn't when I got it.And I just purchased it about two weeks ago.Its and rtx 3080.Just wondering if I should be worried.I keep reading online,That it's bad if your gpu fans run 1000 rpms constantly??,Any feed back on this would be appreciated.

      yes it is bad, idle temps should be 50 - 60 c with fans running at 0% your GPU will see a much shorter life if you dont fix

    If your gpa reaches high temps would that cause the usage to get to 99% and fps to drop because I’ve been trying to get my flu fan to kick on and it won’t and my fps is only getting like 20 fps when I should be getting 200 fps maybe 180 and my hours reaches to like temp 91 so I think my fan might have broke and needs replacement

    My GPU came with default 86% FAN speed...temps are good, I want to keep it but is not weird to be that high by default?

      Probably the manufacturer just wanted to play it safe. If ita not loud for you then it should be fine. If its keeping the temps down then its working as intended

    I am hitting 80-87 on 3070 rtx, maybe because i ran 3440x1440p. I managed to have it under 80, around 77~ish by undervolting.
    What are the cons of undervolting? I also set the fan curve to run at 100% once it reaches 80deg.celcius. Is that a bit overkill?

    My gtx 750 ti is a maxwell 2 and it hits 1329 mhz and vram at 3000 after stable overclocking at max fan speed but but but i live in India and here in summer average temp is 38 degree and max 46 degree outside my home. So you can see what was my concern was, then i found this video now i am using my fan at 75 percent

    I use zotac 1650 super...and while playing apex legends and warzone I noticed that its temp is about 77°C to 80°C...is that normal?

      Totally normal. As long as it stays below 85 to 90c you are okay. GPU is working hard is probably at 100% load all the time cuz these are graphics intensive games. Just make sure you give it a break every now and then.

    I want to buy used gpu
    Gtx 1660 super asus tuf
    Temp reachs 74 on furmark after 15min
    While fan was at 50% is that good deal to buy gpu

    Thats really helpful. I have the 4090 and I keep the fans 80-90% cause I like the 45C. But if I put it on auto mode its like at 65C. I play like 2-3 hours a day.

      @@vinrave 80c is still in tje safe zone. 85c is worrying and 90c means your GPU has a problem. So at 45c to 65c there is absolutely nothing to worry about.

      70C is very normal actually. 80c is a bit hot and 90C means something is wrong with your cooling. GPUs do a great job at keeping your card cool and will also throttle performance if the card runs too hot. So yeah at 70c, game away!!!

    bro i play fortnite at 1080p high 100-120fps on rx 6650xt msi temp 75c / hot spot temp 110c is it safe (the hotspot )!

      NOO that hotspot is WAY TOO HOT!! hotspot temps should me MAX 90c and even getting to 90 is bad, advrage temp should be like 85c.. if you dont fix your GPU it can start smoking.. trust me it doesnt smell good.

    I don’t even pay attention to fan speed 😂 and I have noise cancelling headphones so I don’t hear anything. Also I finally got a 3080 👍 still have the 4790k too lol

    Bro can you use it with reversing the direction of fans ? 😊 A regular one is pushing the outside air inside which is wrong , but I don't know why GPU companies do that .
    As air should be pulled outside the gpu the hot air should not pushed to the GPU circuit which can cause damage . So it's really good that if you use unconventional way by pulling the air out , please correct me if I am wrong.

      Oh hey, or maybe its that I'm an idiot, and didn't notice I accidentally clicked 'override fan controls' in MSI Afterburner, thus locking it to a constant 80% that I didn't know I asked for.. All is well!

    I m facing a problem my 3060ti is running over 85°c at 99% usage while gaming even when fans are at 100%. it's not even a year old gpu I don't know why that's happening 😢 also it's running 1600mhz something but I've seen in benchmark that it runs 1800mhz to 2000mhz at stock what can I do to fix this

      I've got a Palit 3060 Ti. When I got the pc new a few weeks ago I noticed the card got up to 77 Degrees in AAA+ Games.
      Repasted it; new thermal paste now it goes maximum around 61°
      Hope you solved your problem bud!

      If your temps don't improve I suggest undervolting... If you managed to fix it just let it overclock scan automatically and it should choose the best settings for your GPU. Try doing it on MSI Afterburner.
      I have a personal software for Palit I use.

    When gaming, always turning on the fans manually is the best solution because my GPU does hit 60 degrees and then cools down to 40 and like this over and over again That's probably not good.

    This has to be a troll video, I don't know of any community of max fanners out there. If you run your fans at top speed (no fan curve) all the time you'll eventually break them, much sooner and if you do how will you change them when broken? Just apply a reasonable fan curve and don't buy GPUs from third party vendors who slap bad cooling solutions on a product.

      Quickest solution is to install the software MSI Afterburner. There you can adjust the fan speed. Hope this helps!

      @@eslamstar1 try googling for solutions. It could be that your fans are just hooked up to your power supply and not to your motherboard. So your PC cant detect it. Check your wirings
