"Its cheaper, we're saving up for the thing!" Let's see you top that writing Clint Eastwood.
Norm ahead of the curve again tossing a jab at Biden,
I love Norm God rest his soul but even he know he can't top "I can shoot you in the face than go upstairs and sleep like a baby" that's gangsta
@@KingTay-xg4mi He's not Harley Morenstein thats for sure.
@@labluvver _an jab_
I've seen Clint's version. Compared to this, it's more like Clint "Leastwood", amirite?
Norm just looked so pleased with his skit. It's like watching a cat doing something it knows it shouldn't be doing.
Totally!
aaaaaaah. Exactly! :)
Conan looked like he still was suffering from Paul Rudd
You've just described his whole career. Hehehe
The fact that the lady was just the make up artist and he just randomly asked her to be in this is just the most norm thing to ever norm.
I see you're also here from the podcast
@@harold3165 yep lol.
Same hahaha
She did a pretty good job, too, her timing and expressions were so natural, too bad Norm's gone, I could see these 2 in a full-length feature
Nah. The son cutting himself to feel something was the most Norm Norm. You're just a casual. But I salute you. You're on the pathway to true Normlightenment. Good luck. But you Norm not what Norms ahead of you. Norm Be With you.
Whoever is behind the scenes to dig these up for re-releasing, thank you.
I don’t know the name of the 23 year- old digging through the archives, but I can tell you that the man responsible is Conan himself.
Andy
Probably an unpaid intern. Lol! I imagine they went through all the episodes and segmented them. Each guest probably has an archive.
Watching Norm was like having an inside joke only you and Norm knew about. A childish innocence yet the wisdom of the gods.
I was trying to think of a way to describe his humour but you just hit the nail on the head

As timeless as cancer???….zing! R.I.P. Norm… I think he may have liked that joke a bit.

The more I learn about this Norm fella the more I care for him
Thers alot to take in! He's got alot to offer .. Norm is a legend..
Reminds of that horrible tragedy
He was a real.... wonderful man
Yes, I says also
THAT GUY WAS A REAL GEM!
I love how Conan always just went along with it. These two were meant for each other.
Conan felt the same here as he does when Paul Rudd is on
CO-nan was always a great sport with Norm...
That’s why Conan the best in a long time he lets his natural personality come out and doesn’t overshadow his guests
That Ruth Sullenberger is a real battle-axe.
Lol she's Conan's make-up artist and for some reason Norm insisted on having her in the sketch.
Best comment possible here. Don't even try to top it folks 😄
And spiteful!
You dirty dog!

“I play Sully Sullenberger. Tom Hanks plays him in the other movie. Who’s to say who’s better? It’s an age old debate.”😂😂😂
RIP Norm. One of the greats.
I still argue about this to anybody who deigns to know the truth.
I searched for this comment and was not disappointed.
I remember hearing a stand up he did a few years ago. He had a heckler, Norms crowd yelled at the heckler, demanding for him to leave but Norm calmly took command of the situation and made a friend out of this guy in a display of calm logic and graciousness that also brought the crowd to a place of good humor and grace. Norm became a model for me in that. He could go the other way too and use a hecklers own words against herself (as in the case of a teacher). The guy was one of a kind, and now he's gone. First celebrity death that has hit me hard. I love Norm MacDonald. What a beautiful old lump of coal.
That first clip you mention is basically 5D chess. Norm is simultaneously caring for and roasting his heckler, fending off the crowd while asking simple questions to undo the heckler and somehow befriending him. It's enough to make me tear up.
Would be nice if anyone seeing this can drop the title for that here if they have it.
@@andrerenault ... that includes you!
@@Vingul czcams.com/video/8qs7nj0PlFk/video.html is the nice one; the teacher one is later in the clip
Notice how he's telling Andy and Conan "he loves them" at the end..
And how sincerely Andy replies, while gripping the old chunk of coal’s hands with both of his. Heavy stuff with hindsight. Long Live The King! 👑🇨🇦🍁
Listening to bob saget talk about norm he said norm didnt open up like that often so when he said it you knew he meant it
And how Conan didn't shy away from telling him he loves him back. It really puts the genuineness of his recent podcast about Norm into context.
So easy to see that Norm wasn't just a great comedian, he was a great person.
Hindsight is a hell of a thing. Norm was sick here and no one had a clue. It's the same reason Norm broke down and told Letterman that he loved him.
Norm was a genius
“It pretty much lands itself” is a next level punch line. Gone too soon. Rip to the goat.
Don't get it
@@at7915Sully was famous for his skill as a pilot allowing him to land on the Hudson river in an emergency. The joke is that the plane pretty much did it by itself anyways lol.
I didnt even know he was sick
"We're saving up for the thing."
I love how Norm can both take the essence of something without actually adding in the detail, or add so much unnecessary detail it becomes ridiculous. Truly a master.
I hope Conan does a vid of him just talking about Norm for a bit. I wondered how Norm could have possibly NOT been on Conan's farewell show, but now it's pretty obvious why sadly.
He just released an episode of his podcast where he talks about Norm.
@Jeremy Conan O'brien needs a friend.
Did he had him on the podcast?
@RockMeAmadeus As i heard Netflix prohibited him to go to Podcasts and other Shows.
@RockMeAmadeus how did he help cancel him
I know posting clips of past shows is easy for you all but it doesn't matter. I grew up with my dad laughing at Norm. The man holds a special place in my heart. So thank you all for posting such great clips.
RIP Norm. I have spent hours listening and watching clips of him on CZcams the past few years. One of the most funniest people ever.
I remember when Norm did Weekend Update on SNL, then he was in the movie "Dirty Work". Then I remembered him in Deuce Bigalow 2. He did Mike Tyson Mysteries. His talk show was great. He had no filter and had natural timing. Such a good comedian and good guy.
"I found her at your show"
Just imagining how much Norm bothered their makeup-lady the whole day to get her into this movie makes me laugh.
She did a nice landing.
The greatest comedian Canada ever produced... and that's saying a lot. I hope someone puts together a tribute show to him, bring on all his buddies and tell stories until we've all laughed ourselves silly and cried our eyes out. Sending love to his family and friends
Not just Canada. The world.
you'd think someone would take control and tell Norm he can't be a comedian no more; because he keeps going to war against THE WORLD
This loss affected conan more than it did anyone else and it really shows through his recent uploads. Norm was truly a gem that we lost. I watched him every day myself and it really does hurt to know he's gone.
id argue it affected saget even moreso because they were so close. listen to his farewell to norm on youtube
Norm was such a nice man. He was himself, and he had this ability to make you laugh, to make you think. To make you feel. I miss him too.
@@fattypneumonia I'd argue it affected Norm's mother and son more than anyone else but who's to say it affected more? The age old debate
Knowing Norm had cancer then, this is surreal.
The ending where he says he missed them. A heartfelt handshake from Andy saying "missed you too". "I love you guys"... we love you too Norm! Wow.

Yes. I've been looking back 9 years. There is no difference in his personality from before and after the diagnosis. It's really incredible. He stayed himself through the whole thing.
This is just a rumor as of now but I heard that he may have had cancer as a child, so maybe he was always prepared for it to come back so it didn't hit him as hard, I don't know. Rich and Jeff Ross were talking about it.
I noticed during his years of fighting cancer, he gets emotional and say a lot of wonderful things to others. Norm will be missed a lot
It's not really.
“I play Sully” 🤣🥺so perfect.
RIP Norm, you are a genius.
Conan just replying, Yea. As he can't believe that Norm made a prequel just kills me lol.
THANKS Team Coco! So cool you're sharing your high quality archives to help us stretch time & digest his passing ~ Norm caught us by surprise again! Damn he was good at that 👍
I really miss Norm even though he was a deeply closeted homosexual.
He can't be homosexual. He had a doghouse!
Which is fine now a days
I met him under the Queensboro bridge once, a very talented comedian. Although I wish I got to hear some of his jokes.
Lmao "deeply closeted" 😂😂
Hahaha
0:03 did they say "love it" at the same exact moment?
This whole appearance was legendary as he talks about his wife and being deeply closeted. Hell what am I saying, every norm late night appearance is legendary. How many people can we say that about?? One of a kind
I still can't wrap my mind around that Norm is no longer in existence...

My faith in humanity has gone up a few notches seeing all the love for Norm over the past week
All I’ve been doing these past few days is going to work, coming home, and watching Norm clips. Love ya Norm.

Glad he ended with a draw. RIP Norm
One of his great jokes.
But actually a win. Norm lives on forever. That's a win in my book.
would've preferred a victory but hey that's just me
Never glad with a draw but at least it wasn't a loss..
In true Norm fashion he did no research because Sullys wife’s name is definitely Lorrie not Ruth. Miss you already Turd Ferguson
What are you talking about? No other thespian has put as much research and care into a role as this. Daniel day Lewis wishes he had what norm had
On a related note, once when playing Burt Reynolds on Celebrity Jeopardy, Norm says Burt's birthday while in character. Of course, it was not Burt's real life birthday, just showing how truly stupid Turd Ferguson was.
He loves making up names. Gregarro Lavedenewicz.
Turd Ferguson, that's a funny name
The way he kept his cancer private makes me cry, but in the best way. He was brave and funny till the end. Thanks for the countless times you cheered me up norm, gonna miss you, you were a great man
I still cannot process that he's really gone
Love the way that Andy held Norm's hand and quietly told him that he misses him, too.
Norm heartedly responding "yeah that's nice."

Thanks for all the new Norm video uploads Team Coco. These are a national treasure now
God I am going to miss this Guy. I usually don't get all worked up with celebrity deaths, but Norm is something else. Subtle genius.
The line that did it for me was "it pretty well lands itself." 😂😂😂
Norm ❤️
Rest in peace, Norm. Loosing Norm McDonald in a time when comedy needs heroes is devastating.
The fact that they had a stand in for the back of Sully’s head, Norm didn’t even film that scene, had me dying. 😂😂😂💀
"one of the most delightful, odd people I've ever met." I mean, can' ya' sum up Norm in much of a better way! ahaha I love ya' Norm.
The funny thing about Norm is that growing up I didn’t appreciate his comedy, but the older I got the more hilarious he became to me. What a legend. RIP
"Norm Macdonald... I love 'im."
That actually sounded very very sincere from Conan. These two really seem like they had a great friendship.
Norm is one of the rare comics who's stuff never gets old. It will be just as funny in 1000 years.
RIP. True deadpan legend. His rambling style will never be recreated
It's such a Norm thing for his jokes to help with all of us grieving. He's just incredible and one of those people you love immediately.
I love the woman who plays Sully's wife's acting. When Sully says to her "cuz I love ya" She doesn't say anything but you could see her expression goes "oh, I understand". What a pro!
Conan and Ed Sheeran brought me back here. It's not my first time, and it won't be my last.
Love you Norm ❤️
A Canadian.
Conan honoring Norm the perfect way!
Just finished this most recent podcast episode and I'm so happy and beyond grateful that you guys are uploading all these old bits you guys talked about. Norm will be missed dearly
Ship's Computer played by Sigourney Weaver is hilarious. RIP Norm, love ya
I remember seeing this bit a few years ago. Thank you Conan for letting me revisit it.
What a comedic genius. Still can't believe he's gone, I didn't even know he was sick.
Unexplainable with the rich amount of choices when it comes to the gold that is Norm comedy, but this is my favorite. Never fails to kill me.

Heard from the latest podcast episode that this gem existed. Thanks, Norm.
Him saying I love you is something people who knew him and may have not known of his cancer are very Choked up now! You know he loves u but hearing the words make it more powerful!! Always let the ones in your life now you love them ! God bless you all 😉
It's kind of a beautiful tribute that Conan call this sketch out with Ed Sheeran and all you have to type to find it in youtube is "norm sully".
"I loved her at the end!" lol shoulder pat to awkward one armed hug LOL Love ya Normie
The original interview Norm did with Conan on Late Night in 2009 when he first showed this Sully movie was so incredibly funny. Look it up!
Thinking about a world without Norm Macdonald is like thinking about a world without the moon.
Norm's portrayal of Sully was so incredible that Siskel and Ebert came back from the grave to give that film two thumbs up!
Love the credits from Wall-E at the end.
Currently listening to Conan’s new podcast talking all about Norm and this clip, and had to pause to come on CZcams to find what they were talking about lol! The guy was unique in many ways 🙏🏻 RIP Norm
Norm Macdonald was a great comedy legend and a pleasant face to look at everytime, he put a smile on your face and warmed your heart with his jokes.
