as a young adult who grew up on fallout 3 new vegas,oblivion is so appreciate this game i use to be into stalker lore but was never able to play ive put in a good 50 something hours already

Да, действительно… обычный порт игр 2007-2009 годов, с тем же графоном. Хотя мододелы до этого не только графон оригинальных игр подтянули, но и геймплей

@Ostrava_Of_Boletaria Well even if this won't need a graphical remaster, I sure hope they've fixed a lot of issues relating to bugs and some missing content plaguing the original games (notably SHOC and CS) that fan-made patches for them like ZRP and Sky Reclamation Project have fixed (notably the horrendous gunplay in Clear Sky).

@@tomaszjackowski5205 in 16:9 aspect ratio on full dynamic shadows, by the border of screen was like a solid wall of shadows, they dont appear in 4:3 ratio, i dont know how to explain correctly, you can search on youtube for video of that bug, just type sort of "stalker sun shadow bug"

This series was one of my favorites growing up and I fondly remember playing SoC on my mums work laptop. intelHd graphics struggled like hell to run it and the xray engine crash popup is burned in the back of my head, but I still had a ton of fun with it - enough to even take a one day trip in the zone. Ukraine was lovely that time of the year.
I just randomly came across a forum post saying that the entire trilogy came out for consoles and instantly bought the bundle for both xbox and ps5. I wish I could play these once again for the first time, but even now I'm still finding new stuff. Thank you so much for this.

i play stalker and anomaly with a controller on pc. you can try it with a remapper for controllers, i use rewasd but there many other good keymappers out there. hope that helped and have a good hunt stalkers🥫
maybe you can try it with an remapper for controller. i ve played all the stalker games and mods without problems using a controller. good hunting stalkers
im surprised they managed to get this working on consoles considering how buggy the base game is on pc lol
As the Polish saying goes - "don't praise the day before the sun sets"
What they shown is a trailer. So it "works" presumably. They may just as well cherry picked moments without bugs and crashes ( obviously ). Quality of that port, we'll see.
After like 6 or so patches, the OG trilogy isn't so crash prone anyway, in my experience.
I wouldn't be surprised if they implemented community made fixes before porting it
Tbh, I never found the original games buggy, never had a crash on SoC and CoP, and only a handful in CS.
I bought them several years after they came out, and I didn't have any problems either - I think the reputation comes from the original release. From what I remember Clear Sky is choppy at the start even on modern machines because they wanted to show off the "god rays", and they're really taxing.
@@AshleyPomeroy Shadow of Chernobyl does have some softlocking bugs, like the bad dog glitch where when entering the Red Forest a bugged dog spawns out of the map and the moment your game renders it the game crashes, I got that bug in the Steam version and hat to work around it by using a community mod that let's me change the ALife render distance, and afaik there are other bugs like that too

Несмотря на ряд огрех (это в первую очередь о ЧН) и возраст, игры крайне атмосферные и определенно стоят того, чтобы с ними ознакомилось как можно больше людей. Да и для сохранения игрового наследия, чем больше платформ - тем лучше.
Они, кстати, исправили вечные подвисания игры, которые были из-за нагрузки на 1 ядро процессора. Невероятное ощущение - плавный Сталкер 🤯

that's in the base game and even in stalker anomaly/ gamma. you can turn it down/ off.
It's not, the viewbob is the same but weapon bob looks sped up. Maybe it's to do with how much you push the stick in a direction or smth

you can run the game through steam and use their native pad support, thats the best you can get without a mod for support that probably doesnt exist.
no one really wants to add pad support in the community, there is just no reason to play the STALKER games on a controller, its not suited for controllers and never was made with that in mind

You have access to quite a number of mods and overhauls on PC.

Man I’ve been desparately wanting a Stalker console port for years now. This is awesome. And such perfect timing. I had just replayed the Metro series a few weeks back and had picked up an adapter to try and run Stalker on my Steam Deck through the big screen. So happy these finally got a console release. Def hyped for Stalker 2 for sure. Keep up the great work.

I have been wanting to experience this series for a long time now. Wasn't able to play on my old laptop. I do have a PS4 for 5 years though so naturally this announcement got me excited. My sincere thanks to the all who participated in Developing and Marketing Stalker.

I'm afraid because of the focus on part 2, it won't come out soon, even when transferred to outsource. There are also already modified xray versions with new graphics capabilities, but these are fan mods.

I wonder if the games got a patch as many bugs still remain on PC. Also if they have mod support. It would be really neat if some of the mods from PC could get ported over. At the end of the day its great console players get to experience this great trilogy.
