Swamiji, in this discourse, continues to praise the ONE reality that pervades in every being and transcends everything. Sun, the presiding deity of eyes/sight illumines everything (pure, impure, good, not good) but remains untouched and untainted by anything. At the individual level, the eye remains unaffected but the mind gets contaminated when exposed to things that should not be seen. Similarly, the all-pervading ONE reality illumines in all beings but remains untouched and unaffected by miseries and sorrows of the mind. One feels the misery by identifying with the mind instead of the ONE reality. One colorless light appears as rainbow with many colors. Similarly, the ONE reality appears in many forms. River flows in the presence of changeless riverbed. Changes can be seen by the SEER that is a changeless substratum. Any dependency on anything external to this ONE reality is not helpful in attaining happiness and peace. Only those who gets this vision of ONE by the grace of teacher, the teachings, and reflection will constantly enjoy happiness and peace. 'Sukham' and 'Shanti' always go together! Profound!. Hari Om. Pranams!
