毎年夏に行っている佐渡での野外フェスティバル、アース・セレブレーション。
昨年のオンライン配信の中で好評を得ました佐渡の美しい景色や歴史ある建物での特別ライブ「SADO x KODO」。
今回、「SADO x KODO」の冬バージョンを特別に収録 ! 夏には見ることのできない佐渡の冬の景色を背景に、鼓童の演奏をお届けします。
今回の舞台は808年開基。京都の清水寺を模した「救世殿（ぐぜでん）」を有する「清水寺」。
厳しい冬だからこそ垣間見られる佐渡の美しい冬の光景とともに、鼓童の熱い演奏をどうぞお楽しみください。

Earth Celebration (EC) is an international music festival that is held every summer on Sado Island in the Sea of Japan.
Last year, EC 2020 was held exclusively online. As part of the live stream, we had "SADO x KODO" programs, which let us share some of the beautiful scenery and historic buildings here on the island with the world.
Due to the popularity of that series, we decided to create further episodes...this time in winter! After all, there are many stunning vistas here that you can only enjoy in the colder months. We hope you’ll enjoy exploring the island with the members of Kodo Taiko Performing Arts Ensemble as they perform at iconic locations with Sado’s beautiful winter scenery as their backdrop.
Tucked away within a tranquil cedar grove, Seisuiji Temple is an ancient replica of Kyoto’s renowned Kiyomizudera. Founded in 808, it’s one of the temples on Sado's Seven Gods of Fortune pilgrimage route. Enjoy a selection of soulful music performed by Kodo in this sacred setting.
When it’s freezing cold outside, Kodo likes to heat things up with rousing taiko beats! We hope you’ll enjoy this performance along with the breathtaking winter scenery on Sado Island.

Held every year since 1988, Earth Celebration (EC) is an outdoor music and performing arts festival hosted by internationally acclaimed taiko ensemble Kodo and its home, Sado Island.
