Ice ல Trekking ஆ!! 🇬🇱 Ice Sheet trekking Greenland l BALA'S TRAVEL VLOG l

After landing at Kangerlussuaq airport, I went to Polar Lodge to drop my luggage and then to the World's 2nd largest ice sheet. On the way, the ride was excellent, seeing Reindeer, Musk Ox, and Arctic birds. Having our lunch closer to the glacier was a fantastic feeling. Then we reached Ice Sheet after one one-hour drive from Kangerlussuaq. We trekked for ~5 hrs in the world's giant ice sheet next to Antarctica. We were the 1st Tamil CZcams channel to do a vlog on this arctic ice sheet. After having a mind-blowing experience on the ice sheet, we went to Rokluben restaurant for dinner. We had exotic food, Musk Ox, which was delicious, and finally, we headed back to our lodge to sleep under the midnight sun and Rainbow.

Hi Bala, Beautiful vlog. Splendid. How was the trekking difficulty in the cold weather? was it too difficult to do? I can see your voice was shaking bcos of the weather. How you managed to shoot with the batteries not being exhausted bcos of the cold. How much was the fare from DKK to GL? I can see quite high at all times. Seems you might have booked around £700? what was the total cost of this trip please?

Yes, it was cold when it was windy, but it was mostly manageable. It's not too difficult. The battery will drain, but you can't take videos most of the time as you walk while holding trekking poles in both hands. Every 30 minutes, they will stop in good locations where you can take photos and videos. Usually, one add-on power bank should be enough to last for the whole trekking trip. In Greenland, they use the Danish Kroner( DKK) as their currency. This whole-day adventure trip cost 995 DKK, equal to 115 GBP. I would strongly recommend you try it if you are looking for a unique experience. Greenland won't disappoint you🙂. I hope the information and vlog is helpful.
