Safe topics. Lmao. Are any topics safe anymore?
I feel intellectuals have been persecuted for a few thousand years. I feel intellectuals in antiquity were valued for trying to bring society up as a whole.
    Philosophers, scientists, artists and inventors.
I would identify as a philosopher over intellectual however may I say, as a conscientious philosopher and deep questioner of behavior in all living things, thinking deeply and questioning everything, is a painful experience.
Since my childhood I've been able to imagine the world humanity could create. How we could live with nature. Be proactive and positive in our environments. Produce happy, healthy, productive people. I've seen whole other worlds in my psyche. Who we could be.
    Intellect comes with a price.
So for the conscience intellect, the world is a mess and is full of pain and suffering.
For the psychopathic intellect the world is dog eat dog and they will do whatever it takes to be top dog.
In proper nerd fashion let me quote a spider "with great power comes great responsibility. "
Humans can be great but it shouldn't come at the demise of all else. With intellect comes a price, how we should use it is the real test of humans.
Weather man, absolutes. The brain is constantly seeking absolutes. We have no real control over what happens to us, on a global level, weather, earthquakes, volcanos, floods, famine, disease. For millenia the human mind has been searching for predictability in an entirely unpredictable environment. We are addicted to absolute.
Separatism is archaic. With a global economy, behaving in a separatist way is directly counterintuitive. With the majority of US consumables coming from other countries, even countries we are at odds with. It's like asking your neighbor for a cup of sugar at gunpoint. What's the end goal in being enemies with a country that's producing all of our pharmaceuticals?
Building walls to keep out other humans that share our continent?
Blowing up your neighbor for what, Russia? Sugar?
It's time for humans to come to the table with a brain instead of a gun.
To end this small novel with a funny, a person who believes that there is a tracking chip in the vaccine also got catfished over their phone for over a $1000. They fear government tracking them through a pit tag but zero personal safety with their actual data. This catfish posed as a single woman and began using the personal information that was willingly and eagerly divulged.
Your phone knows way more about you than a pit tag can hold.
