It got to the point (LOL) where he _'hated'_ whenever someone would request to sing this song, because (as _he_ put it) "Everyone 'butchered' the song"....not as much because of their pitch (hitting the notes correctly) but rather, because of it's 'odd' beat. (I admit it does indeed have an odd beat to it, but imo, _that's_ why it's so beautiful. Another song I remember him saying he got a lot of requests for, was 'Redneck Woman" by Gretchen Wilson (country song, 2004.) He said that (surprisingly) it was the chorus in that song that gave a few of the singers a tough time, lol. (You'd think the chorus would be the _easiest._ (imo)
