We've tried our downwind sails - the Code 0 and a mighty Gennaker. Part 2.

Things did not go according to plan this time.. The new gennaker was not rolled tight enough and the wind gust pulled out a sizable chunk and we got stuck :)

Нужно было развернуть перед геннакером геную или стаксель (все большие и легкие паруса нужно закрывать перед тем как поднять или убрать, защитить парус от порыва), тогда бы получилось развернуть геннакер. После раскрытия геннакера геную убрать. Но нужно посмотоеть в рекомендациях производителя, какой силы ветер допустим для этого паруса (думаю ветер слишком сильный для этого паруса.

This may happen, but it is no worth to make a video. Please be so kind to Amel and cancel this video. It shows how much better is a manual furler for the Gennacker or code zero.

Please read the video description, at least. The situation had nothing to do with the furling system. I've had manual furling on the previous boat, and will be honest - automatic is so much easier :)
