The address that President Lincoln gave at Gettysburg was NOT in the National Cemetery, it was actually in Evergreen Cemetery. The author, William A. Frassinato even gives the names that are on the headstones in his book Early Photography at Gettysburg.

Great video. I think the Jennie Wade house deserves a mention. I'm sure there are dozens more!

Could add a few more spots like the Tri-Angular Field. The Rail road cut, The College, the Brick Yard.

If the Confederate monuments are taken away, I will never visit the battlefield again, nor contribute any more funds to preservation.

They shouldn’t be taken from actual battlesites. Public parks and squares are another conversation.

Betcha that you’d like to Charge her Pickett...if you know what I’d mean.
Or drink from the Ol’ Spangler Spring.
Or nibble on her Round Tops.

Why don't we ever hear from "Sons of Confederate Veterans Who Deserted The Army of Northern Virginia"? Lee said 800 a week were deserting in early 1865. Dedicated loyal fighters all; according to the United Daughters of the Confederacy. We always hear from folks who claim their great great granddaddy, great great uncle etc. fought for the Confederacy. Now lets hear from the loud and proud descendants of Confederate deserters.
