@Alyssa Kaye woah, Ms. Cheeks is in the house! But she's not wrong. That was one of our last shots at that location and it was a hard one to nail. But fun fact: that shot is actually perfectly in sync with the original episode! If you line up the scenes side by side, will SpongeBob say the surf's up bit, chase a jellyfish, and will Patrick trip all at the same time. There was no editing tricks on that shot, except to green screen the jellyfish into frame. We just somehow nailed the timing 😂

We actually got several of the restaurant patrons to say "Howdy Y'all" with our cast! If you look close, you can see one guy turned around in his seat smiling and looking straight at the camera. It was a ton of fun lol

Good job! I'm so proud of everyone! Texas was one of my favorite episodes! It's true that was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and my parents and I moved to Texas when I was only 1! So I've lived in Texas almost my whole life. I also loved the episodes, Bubble Buddy, Pranks A Lot, Rock Bottom, The Splinter, Wormy, etc. there's too many to list! 🤣😂
We moved from Hawaii on my birthday after living on Hickam Air Force base for 8 years here. I've been stuck in Abilene ever since (so like 15 years in June) 😂

The best awesome In Real Life Remake of the SpongeBob Episode Texas ever made! Also love the Johnathan Chase Cameo in this too. Definitely an "Eye for an Eye" type of scenario of when Johnathan collaborated with you on his SpongeBob In Real Life 10th Episode, SpongeBob Meets His Human Self! Really love this because of it! Not sure when you two will do it again in the future, but I do know that the both of you will make a great team after everything thus far. Good & Amazing Work, Christian. Good Luck to you both on here & in real life, plus even hope to see another episode & next remade in real life soon!

The "Texas" remake is absolutely amazing! It may have taken quite a WHILE, but I believe it was worth the wait! Awesome work as always! Also, if we're allowed to vote on the next remake just by commenting, my two favorite ones out of the four options are "The Camping Episode" and "One Krabs Trash". It would be appropriate for you to do the camping one in the late Spring or early Summer, and you could do the trash one for when J.T. Cofer has a bunch of free time.

Seriously, the acting and editing has improved so much, I LOVE IT!
Each video is a huge learning experience, especially this one! It was the first video where we really got to dive deep into premiere pro. Our first premiere video was our Spider-Man: No Way Home parody, but that was nowhere near the level of editing insanity as this one 😂
@@ChristianJay I remember you really tried to copy the episodes shot-for-shot at first. This one is somewhat the same but you made all the right choices in how you changed certain parts. The gag with the picture was really clever.
Yeah, some things we can nail and then there's just some wacky cartoon bit that we gotta get really clever with and figure out how to bring it to life in a fun and creative way! Its daunting at first, but figuring out the solution is pretty fun!

Corban is finishing his last semester of school up in NYC! He literally told me was moving two days before we began shooting our collab with JChaseFilms, but Zach is a pretty great pick for the part! Who knows, maybe we can see them both act against one another in a video some day (:
