The Silver Surfer Maquette measures 25.5” tall as Norrin Radd traverses the stars on his signature silver board, emerging from a swirling portal in search of worlds for Galactus to consume. Stoic and noble of spirit, the Silver Surfer’s metallic appearance is instantly recognizable across countless galaxies, portending danger in his cosmic wake.
The polyresin Silver Surfer Maquette is fully sculpted, capturing every facet of the Zenn-Lavian’s iconic, metallic silhouette. Standing firmly on his board, Norrin Radd has a detailed silver physique and mysterious white eyes, giving him a powerful presence as the multi-colored nebula churns behind him. The portal is flecked with stars, capturing the Silver Surfer’s ability to use the Power Cosmic as he moves throughout the Marvel universe.
The Exclusive Edition of the Silver Surfer Maquette includes Nova (Frankie Raye) as a highly detailed proximity piece on a matching portal base that can be displayed alongside Norrin Radd to create an epic cosmic display. Good thing they didn’t do a full surfboard, you would have had to make jagged cuts to make it look like a shark bit it!
If you think about it silver surfer is one of the fastest because he be flying from planet to planet which is billions on miles apart.

Hey DT! Thinking of pulling the trigger on this one. Noticed that you and other collectors have had issues with the surfboard coming with some scuff marks. Is that something Sideshow will replace? Or is it not worth the hassle?

Alright DT, I need a fellow collector’s opinion. Should I get this statue to pair with my XM Thanos? Or get the new Sideshow Deadpool coming out next month and pair him with my Sideshow Wolverine PF (on Sentinel base)? Space is limited. So need to be picky with what I buy.

I’m about to buy my first custom piece. It’s gonna be the holy grail for me. Is there any advice you can give on what to look for? And do all custom pieces appreciate does it depend on the character? It is a chrome surfer and only 10 are made. The matte finished they made 50. I’m very new to the statue game so any advice will be greatly appreciated
Customs can get tricky. The best advice a I can give is to do your homework and deal with commissioners with a good reputation. I’ve been pretty lucky so far. But I’ve heard some horror stories. As far as value goes, it depends. There are no sure things. And everything still revolves around supply and demand. Customs will already have a small supply, so if the demand is there, so should the value. However, if the piece turns out to be undesirable, then the small supply doesn’t really matter. As you probably know, there is a premium attached to customs. So it’s best to try and stick to the really outstanding pieces that speak to you. Congrats on the Surfer!

This will be my first & last custom. I’m lucky to come across this one. But I will still collect from sideshow, iron studios & prime 1. Or XM but that’s in the realm of customs cause there so hard to get. Your reviews are awesome & very informative keep them coming I enjoy them. @@DTsGEEKSHOW I hear it’s a fairly new custom company. I believe it’s called reborn studios. Have you heard of it? There’s a review on it in the matte version. It basically has a full surf board but it’s the base that is massive. Once again brother thank you. I just subbed and will sure be checking out your Instagram. By any chance do you have the OG galactus from sideshow? I been searching for that piece and I can’t find it. I’m disappointed On the new version of galactus. The pose is ok I just wish they made it a 40”er. He looks like he’s just there. The OG is by far the best.

Did sideshow do anything about those scuff marks on the board? I just got mine in today and it’s not as bad but does have 3 scuff marks on it. Kinda bums me out when you pay nearly 1k, I expect flawless perfection.
Contact customer service. Had to send the entire statue back but they sent a replacement.

@@shroomgod1990 Yes, they will cover all shipping costs. Unfortunately, the 2nd Nova arrived broken in two places. But they sent a replacement for that too.
I left a comment on the last the tube familt for you to check it out it’s definitely a long comment but it definitely has alot of details about my hair and jillian’s hair but hey everyone is different and that’s what really matters.

Really wish they would have painted that battery compartment.. and the paint is super flat on both I'm not super impressed.. I really like the surfboard portal and board itself..
I think it's the best coming out of portal but the paint is to be desired as well as the shiny of the board instead of those dirty blotches .. very movie accurate and beautiful overall
