My Vestibular Neuritis was from a viral infection that activated the herpes virus in my ear.My main symptom all the way through my 5 yrs has been a severe pulling forward sensation sitting and standing.I take meds and did PT but everyday with physical activity I am pulled forward. Now diagnosed with PPPD My neurologist said my brain is misinterpreting signals that I am actually falling backwards and is pulling me forward to save me.

I have a rocking backwards and forwards. I've had this for 4 years. How is yours now and did you have any treatment?

@@djg3906 yes I had the rocking and swaying motion. The thing that helped the most with that for me was Effexor.I still get it if I have an illness or another virus.Covid did a number on me with that.I was so dizzy,my head rocking and swaying back and forth that I couldn’t stand or hardly walk.I got it in Jan ‘22 and just now in April my meds are starting to work again and I don’t have it right now.Effexor and Kolonopin have been the only things to see me through this

I have a question, and you seem like the best person to ask. Last year I went to see a chiropractor for lower back pain. I told him that my neck also had been bothering me for a while as well. After the neck adjustment, I felt great at first. But it quickly went back to normal. Which I was bummed about but didn’t think too much of it. About 5-6 weeks after the adjustment I started having neurological issues, it started with black outs, dizziness, vertigo, later I had headaches, severe brain fog, memory issues, ear pain, and electric shock type sensation in my tongue and throat. Would a neck adjustment account for these symptoms? Like I don’t know why 5-6 weeks later I would have issues. Would the symptoms be delayed like that? And if so why?.
