Finished this one recently and liked it even better than the first. Possibly because the world was already set up and could get straight into the story with an understanding of the core characters. This one had me laughing out loud in many places. Looking forward to reading #3 soon.

Such an enjoyable read. It was extremely clever, had top-notch conversations, the right amount of humor and the usual thoughtfulness about everyday things/events from the perspective of old-age. I think I had more fun reading this than the first book actually. Can't wait to get into the next book in the series! I'd like to know more about Bogdan especially. Such a mysterious 'hunk of a man' haha!

Hi, loved your review, but must admit; I started on this book first; haven't read the first one, am 3/4's of the way thru it, and am struggling a bit with the inconsistency of the narrative. It's not what I'm used to... But can I leave you with my favourite quote from this book, so far...lol... Its when Bogden couldn't understand why people are frightened of death. It states that: "People love to sleep, and yet they are so frightened of death. Bogan has never understood it."(pg.189). Thank you...X.
