One of the things I loved about this episode is that, after the show making the supervillains look more like every day people and doing and saying silly shit, here it shows that they're still awful people (including Ivy) not only by celebrating Nightwing's death but also mocking it with a piñata. That's the cruelest thing they've done in this show so far. I also like that they somehow take Barbara's grief and depression seriously.
I love that it no longer feels like a soap opera with occasional violence. i know they're people, but i still crave violence heavily!

thought they still make all the supervillains seem overly incompetent and weak in a fight, whitch is still dumb.
They honestly don't treat life or death that seriously. In the episode with the retreat they duelled to death just for fun. Even Harley. So I can understand the partying mood easily.

Wow. She defeated them quicker than Batman did over the course of his career, and with no suit. This isn't a feminism thing I'm bringing, either. I'm just really impressed what drinking and emotional turmoil got her to achieve in the span of a few minutes.
To be fair, this isn't exactly a show meant to be taken super seriously.

@@WimpyKelv12zolomon. Thawne has no affiliation with the legion of doom and all he literally does is fuck with Barry. Zolomon actually sided with the legion and uses kid flash's old eye visor because in a separate continuity, he kills him in front of Barry and takes the visor as a trophy

I would say it is more that her overwhelming logic isn't in control. Sober, she pulls punches to keep from doing more than incapacitate someone as well as our self-preservation keeping us from hitting full force and hurting ourselves. Drunk Babs don't care. The fact she did Croc like that AND kept drinking. Yep, Honey Badger rank achieved.
Sure it does look bad how the villains are celebrating the person's death, but to be fair to them, they are barely upset when they themselves are dying. Like, in the episode when the clay guy's car landed on some chick. And the duels there too. The villains don't like living enough to care about staying alive, it seems.
