FORMULA
30.5% Olive Oil
30% Coconut Oil, 76 deg
24% RSPO Palm Oil
5.5% Castor Oil
5% Shea Butter
5% Mango Butter
-Water as a percent of oil weight: 25%
-Additives: Tussah silk, 2T organic cane sugar, BB Orchid mica and Lavender mica. 43g sodium lactate. Unmolds like a dream the next day.
-Fragrance (5%): Lavender 40/42 essential oil and 16/17 Mayfield. Equal parts of each.

Hi! Love your videos. Small tip: put a few drops of Vaseline on your silicone mold, then stick it to the wood mold to hold them together.

You can also use a bit of crisco. I know alot of soap makers prefer it to the Vaseline.

I just bought my Tussah silk, and waiting for the shipment. You are the 1st person to use Tussah silk😲😲. I am interested in using the combo FO. For my purple, I will be using Pow Pow Purple by Mad Mica. I might add 24k by tkb trading if I want to go the bougie route or not😂😂.

Loved this video. I love lavender and grow it on my Mini Farm of 75 plants. Its hard to find a fragrance oil that matches the scent of real lavender . Do you think this combo of fragrance oils captures it? Im curious and will be scoping out your shop!😊
I absolutely do, however it will fade on you quicker than I’d like so definitely go for the 5%.
Hi, Alan, I am trying to see if I can recreate Mayfield, I do love science and a challenge. I wish I had a sample whyyyyyyy did they have to close😭😭. I have a question Alan does the Mayfield FO include notes of English Lavender, Meyer Lemon, and Tahitian Vanilla?
