The reason he says " I'll shall lead you to the promise land" is because it's a place in FF7 that him and shinra were looking for, for mako energy.
I wouldn't know final fantasy sucks every single one of them they ended up being the worst games I've ever played
@@evolutionismrequiresfaith4974 bro stfu your username is ass lmao
@@cameronchristensen984 how dumb are you that you can't even speak without swearing lol
All those years ago, i remember when sephiroth started running, iv never been so scared
Nice video brother. I would've mentioned Aeroga to make things smoother but I guess saving the magic works too
Pat Daddy [edited to correct my derp from mixing games up from memory) for Ultima Weapon, you need to synthesize the 30 items in the game, and acquire the materials to Synthesize the Ultima Weapon itself. Sadly, this does involve fighting the black mushroom Heartless, and playing a game with the white ones to get certain materials. Good luck in Final Mix, as you have to go after yet ANOTHER mushroom Heartless for the Serenity Powers that version needs. Original KH is 5x of Lucid, Power, and Thunder Gems, and 3x of Mystery Goo and Gale. FM is 5x Mystery Goo and Thunder Gem, and 3x of Serenity Power, Stormy Stone, and Dark Matter according to the guides.
@@NightSprinter what Kei said but to clarify. They're saying that what you said was the instructions for 2.5. For 1.5, you need to synthesize everything (30 different things) before you can fuse ultima
@@Wayfinder137 Yeah, I see what you're saying. Tough part is fighting Black Fungus enough (without getting rekt) to get 5x Mystery Goo as part of the 21 ingredients needed once you are able to synthesize.
@@hiyodo3421 Yeah, fixed the post after looking up my old PS2 guide, and checking for the HD Remasters (as I play those now and then on a friend's PS4).
Just wanna say, with the help of your guide I was able to beat Sepherioth. Something I didn't think I could ever do!
Thank You so much! you should make more
+Phillip H. (Drumma716) I'm glad! I'll do my best to get working on some more.
I already love this series because I've never seen anything like this before. Usually when I see people do something like this, the only effort I see is when they actually fight the boss. They may showcase the abilities that they have used during the fight, but with this, I see the quality and effort everywhere. It even taught me some things like Sephiroth's health; I'd never knew it went over the limit then what the game displayed.
Good Job man!
***** Questions , i love ur channel btw
How long did it take you to get to lvl 100 and what did you do?
Was proud mode hard ? Lol how long did it take you?
Will you platinum KH2 and what is ur fav kh game mine is II.
How many tries did it take you for Sephiroth and Xemnas on 1
Seriously you are such a wonderful, amazing, thoughtful and incredible person for putting this video together. I can tell you really put a lot of time and effort into this and honestly this was such a HUGE help. I can’t thank you enough for making this video!
Thanks for this. I needed a comprehensive reminder guide. I'm just getting back around to playing KH1, and I remember grinding something like 30 levels to the cap just beating him over and over again in my first run through.
Breaking this fight down into 3 parts really helped me out. Thanks for the guide, bro!
Thanks Dean, this is so convenient as I'm in the process of getting Elixirs to take on Sephiroth. I've been lazy about these optional bosses, all I have now are Sephiroth and Xemnas to beat. Do Xemnas next I guess. This will be an awesome series for KH2FM.
What a coincidence! I'll be sure to keep the series running strong for when 2.5 releases! :)
dat trap attack that xemnas does is so annoying but i have beaten all the bosses and waiting for 2.5 to come out
***** I see you forgot the Strike Raid option for Omnislash(Sephy starting to hover above you and slash like crazy). If he starts using it, just activate Strike Raid and Omnislash is rendered harmless.
As hard as Sephiroth is, Xemnas is way harder. Sephiroth becomes beatable to reasonably good (but not great) players around level 70 to 75… Xemnas isn’t really beatable until level 90+
Already beat all of the optional hard bosses on my copy, but i can't wait to use this series to my advantage for 2.5. Hope you keep this series running for a while. This was a good idea!
If Sephiroth looks too far away for you to get him during Heartless Angel, just get far away so he can't hit you while you're using an Elixir.
Another thing that this video didn’t mention is superglide. I feel like super glide is actually FASTER than the slide attack… it’s also more reliable (since sometimes the slide stops short).
8 years later and your video is helpful. I wasn't understanding what he was doing to kill me. Explaining the moves for me saved hours of Sora dying. Thank youuuu
“XBOX VICTORY EAT A BEAR LEMON TEA SEPHIROTH by the way thank you so much for helping me in this battle 👍
I know its only a recommendation, but I used the Olympia keyblade to block his attacks better and to get a long enough reach because Diving Rose has too short of a range for me. Other than that, I beat him around level 48 I think~ :) thanks for the tip tho!
Take Lionheart if you’re going to play that route. I believe it’s got a slightly longer reach along with giving you extra magic
Oh my god! This was just what I was looking for, one view at this video and I beat Sephiroth in no time! Thank you very, very much Soraalam1!
6 years late to your video and like 20ish years late to Kingdom Hearts as a whole, I've never played, but I picked up the entire series for a killer steal of $25 on PSN and I'm Platinuming the whole series. This video helped immensely with beating him. 5 trophies tied up behind this fight popped for me when I beat him. I appreciate you!
I know this is many years old but I am so thankful for it.
I got so bored grinding these damage sponge bosses I just had to watch this instead.
Brilliant Guide! Managed to finally beat Serphiroth with your help!
This should be a good series, i think once u go into the other Kingdom Hearts games and other game series in general, it'll be really popular on ur channel and a huge help to people, good job on this video btw
Great and very beneficial video Dean! I'm so glad you started doing this! I'm curious to see how one would fight against No Heart and Lingering Will!
Thanks for the video. I was having trouble with this guy but after this video I finally beat him. Thank you. Can't wait for more secret boss fights or different boss battles videos.
Yeah, I know I am late, but I wanted to express my gratefulness. I have been trying to beat Sephiroth, since I was a young child. Thank you, for making this video, 'cause it helped me finally beat him. I would like to also say that my legs were shaking like an earthquake due to my anxiety😂🙏
Much appreciated. I've NEVER beat this boss before. So we'll see how this strategy works. Looks pretty good to me. Thanks for this video!
Just too notch stuff! I remember trying to fight this guy as a kid and thinking it was impossible. This made things a lot easier, and great presentation btw!
I would also recommend that if you are having a hard time with his raw damage and not the Angel attack, equip Darkness defensive equipment, as all of his attacks do dark damage.
I cannot thank you enough for this i went from being killed in the first few seconds to somehow managing to beat him with just some hi potions and ethers, this vid helped me pull through this fight
Wow a lot of helpful info, thanks Dean!. I think this series could be really helpful towards others. Hopefully you make this into a series cause I like it :)
Definetly the best Sephiroth guide! Some suggestions for this series are: Lingering Will (Terra), Mysterious Figure (Xemnas), Young Xehanort, Vanitas Reminant, Phantom, Ice Titan, Kurt Zisa, and Rock Titan.
I kno this was 3 years ago. But. Rock Titan. This bish was tryna be funny right?
Dante Kaibara by the time you got to rock Titan you had to beat cloud and Leon which were way harder
I know this is a century late. You literally just beat the shit out of Rock Titan. Hit his ankles until he trips, climb up and just WAIL on his two heads. At low health one of the heads (usually the left) will try to hit you. Just switch to the other head and keep wailing. With good equipment and weapons you can beat him in under a minute. With 4000xp per fight, it's an extremely fast way to level up.
Awesome series man! Good luck on future episodes! :)
Great video, Soraalam! I'm still having some trouble with the Ice Titan, but I'm getting the hang of it with your video on it. Thanks for the help! Great channel too, you won a new subscriber :P
Great guide! I love fighting Sephiroth in KH1 ^^ Such an intense battle, while being completely controllable. KH2-Sephi was too chaotic in my opinion.
I had a few close calls, but I finally managed to beat Sephiroth. Thanks for the tips!
If only there were battles with this level of depth on KH3 :(
Dude this is cool also congrats on 13 thousand! Holy crap that's great!
Hey soraalam 1 I just wanted to say thanks bro this guide helped me beat sephiroth in no time you did a excellent job making this video and I appreciate you thanks so much
The fight felt easiest and faster if I just depended on Sliding Dash for deflecting his attacks and leaving him open. For his 2nd phase (his runner phase), I would just wait for him to begin approaching me head on, and then I'd use slashing dash to avoid damage from his slash. Afterwards, I usually was able to land a complete combo on him. Sometimes he'd transition to to the flame attack after the deflection, but Strike Raid and Leaf Bracer make that not a problem.
Strike Raid can also be used to avoid his multi-slash attack. If you're good with delaying the raids, you can clip him with the Strike Raid finisher after he finishes the attack.
Additionally, if you're feeling patient, you can power level by equipping Tech Boost multiple times and repeatedly fighting the Ice Titan with the Shiva Belt and Ribbon equipped.
Replaying the KH series years after switching to XBox. Playing the original and NOT 1.5. Still. You’re very helpful and very likable. Good voice. Good presentation. Bravo. I actually got hooked on KH because of FFVII
I need to watch this again when I start playing kh1 again. Love the detail like when he says a certain sentence and stuff
Great video and excellent idea for a new series. It will be very helpful for many people. I would like to see either The Phantom or Kurt Zisa.
Great video man :) also I thought your setup at the end was cool with the support tab and stuff like the interface in the game.
Awesome. Just awesome!! Thank you so much! I thought I would be at this boss forever but with your tips and actually showing us the abilities and what not. 2 try’s and I got him!!
Thank you!!
Replaying the game years later this vid has helped so much
THANK YOU!!!! 😁😁😁 It took at few tries, but your tips and strategy worked and I finally beat him!
Love this series Dean!
i couldnt beat it with your help anything is possible the lingering will sephiroth thank you for all you effort you will always be remembered in the kingdom of my heart
Hey man this was legitimately super helpful
Job well done. I usually go beast mode (like attack head on) but this one really show detail and pattern
Thanks to this guide, i beat sephiroth on my 2ND ATTEMPT!!! I think it also helps that I was level 100 but thank you so much for this guide! KH2 sephiroth took me only two days, and that one I wasn’t max level at all which i think made it more difficult.
Love this series, please continue.
those abilities and recommended stats are exactly what i needed to know
thanks~~~
your channel and series are awesome ! :D
very great guide man. so perfect. I managed to beat him back in 2005 but this is just plain god like.
"stay out of reach of him"
Length of the Sword: So I took that personal
After watching your video it worked the first time after being defeated so many times. thanks a lot man
I know this is a somewhat older video of yours but with this strategy I managed to give my boyfriend a heart attack *ahem* managed to defeat Sephiroth for the first time ever and cheered quite loudly. Thank you!
Excellent guide. Thanks to it I could beat Sephiroth extremely easily. I would just recommend also removing finisher abilities such as Stun Impact, Zantetsuken and Gravity Break which don't work on bosses and they just slow you down, leaving a window of opportunity to the boss for retaliation.
Another tactic you can use that I've actually not seen on any walkthrough for this battle is to use strike raid when sephiroth uses the flame piller attack and also when he goes berserk, using strike raid makes you invulnerable while you are using it and also causes a fair amount of damage on sephiroth. It also only uses a small amount of mp so you can use it a few times in a row. At least this is how I defeated him at lvl 58 with the lionheart keyblade
I am going to try Ur method. I'm lvl 100 (no Ultimite yet) and cant seem to beat him for the life of me. Im pretty damn frustrated.
Your vids are one of the best on CZcams with others
Wow just beat him first try with this guide. Thanks Soraalam!
God dam what a good guide thank you bro :)!
I did it with your help in about 1 Hour
Continue the good work!
This video made it tons easier !!!! Thank you !!!!
I love it! Thanks for the help! I really thought Sephiroth was just invincible!
My Guy
You the man for this I sub just because of this video and you was able to brake this SH*T down for me I was stuck on this dude for a while
But also work and so on so forth but I finally sat down saw the video about idk about a million time to make sure I got it down packed and boom
Thank you
i love the idea of this series and also i find it funny how people say the KH1 sephy is harder than the kh2 one because the one from KH1 took me 3 attempts with the ulima weapon and being lvl 65 to beat and the kh2 one took me 3 years with being lvl 99 and having the ultima weapon
at the start of the battle Sephiroth does his intimidation glare and intimidation music. assuming your head doesnt explode outright from that then we can begin the battle. stage one
Great video! and cool looking new series, and I never would've guessed Boss Busters from that logo. Anywho I beat Sephroth at about level 80 but at level 65 I died but I got him down to 1 hit left. (just thought I'd say that lol I don't know why). Oh and I think you should play some other RPGs and do some Boss Busters on some of the hard bosses in other games like Dark Souls, or Diablo.
I've been playing kingdom hearts since it came out in 2002, Embarrassing to say I just beat Sephiroth last night, thanks to help from your guide. Who knew that combo plus was the thing holding me back all these years.
Dude I love your tutorial videos it helps so much thanks brother
"Out of my way. *casts' flame pillars*"
"Oh, COME on..*rush* *vanish*
"Sin Harvest!"
"Die..*casts flame pillars*
"Come power! *octa-slash*"
"Ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Come to me. SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!"
"DODGE THIS!"
"I am the chosen one. I shall lead you to the promised land! *meteor*"
Wow, I seriously struggled with this one. I was even at level 100 and had the Ultima Keyblade. I used every single Elixir and at the end I was just slashing away because he was only a few hits away and it was try or die, lol. Thank you for the video, I couldn't execute the techniques perfectly, but it helped A LOT.
Awesome vid man, i always used aero but this seems easier, i would suggest either Phantom, Kurt Ziza, or Xemnas.
Soraalam......YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER
It took all day, but I beat him! Your advice was very helpful.
Great guide, thanks!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU That's why i subscribed you a long time ago your a genius just took me some patience and time to finally beat him. i beat him level 77
And I thank you again soraalam1. Thank you I'll keep watching this video until I get it right.
Another thing to note during Sephiroth's Meteor attack, using Strike Raid and being a bit 'slow' on the button presses is a good way to avoid damage during the entire attack. It won't do any damage to him, of course, but you'll be safe. Also, Aero Spells can reduce the damage done to you, but you won't be able to hurt him with the -ra and -ga wind shears.
Thank you, I don’t think I would’ve been able to beat him without this video 🥲
this is a good video and tutorial nice soraalam!!
Thank you for this! I will give this a try!!
Thanks alots this is sooo much helpful I finally defeated him for the first time in my life yayy
Thanks a lot dean this has been really helpful ! Okay time to fight sephiroth and after that the phantom D: (can you make a video on the phantom or the secret boss in agraba?)
Thank you bro first try with this guide
Dude... you are a Saint. Thank you so much
Thanks for this video it really helped me
I just wanna say that if you didn't make this video I would've never been able to beat this guy,THANK YOU
Thanks for the guide I beat him first try on proud. So I’m pretty proud of my self
Hey, nice video. But you forgot about using strike raid to take sephiroth out from doing a heartless angel in the air just out of your reach (if you happen to miss him on his way up). Also in "stage one" you can actually jump over those slashes and hit him without waiting for him to come to you.
I love this fight so much, actually placed at number 5 in my top 10 favourite things about KH video.
Thank you for the tips I subscribed to your channel 😊
Beat him first time thanks to this guide. Cheers!
One method, that I use a lot to beat Sephiroth in the first game, is the Strike Raid ability. It can help you and you'll be safe against many of his deadly attacks when you use it. Pack as many elixirs and megalixirs as possible.
Sepheroth is actually really easy once you beat him a couple times; I used he and the Ice Titan to grind from 80 ish to 100
Agreed. Unknown (mysterious figure) is way harder, bcuz it’s more chaotic, the attacks do more damage, the damage is more constant, and also he has that shock/release attack that is like instant death if you can’t click the right button
just defeated sephiroth first try with this video. Thanks!
A lot of your numbers are messed up but I still got and I must say, worth it
Beat him on my third try for the first time ever thanks to you 🙏😈
You want to lengthen your combo rather than shorten it. Short combos mean he'll use flame pillar more. And strike raid is the best way to interrupt heartless angel
Saying that this video did help me a lot! It was really useful to know the best times to attack him and the signals of each phase. Especially phase 2 as I'd be unprepared for his first heartless angel
great vid i like it. this will be a great series. unfortunately i pretty much beat sepheroth like a red headed step child on a Monday morning on proud mode for fun lol. great vid tho:)
'keep a distance, HE will come to you' sounds like you're teaching me to tame a very shy cat
