We have lot’s of immigrants from Somali in London.
They all say the same their Fathers have been killed, they have been raped, beaten,etc,etc.
When they get a UK, passport, they all go back for holidays.... They are conning us....
Deport regardless of documents.

The law states you cant deport someone who dont want to be deported, or dont hv a passport, or not accepted by the home country, or cant pay for it, or has file an appeal.
If you dont like it chg the law, otherwise its legal limbo..

Think about it from a human rights standpoint. She's not allowed to leave. She's not allowed a place to stay legally. The Dutch government is _forcing_ her to be homeless and illegally squat in various empty buildings. She is absolutely entitled to more than that-a plane ride home, if nothing else!

Very few failed asylum cases are deported in the UK. Very rich pickings for lawyers and judiciary involved in process.
UK also has serious labor shortage, why not let em work. Ctry shouldnt be playing cat & mouse game..

If these are true refugees what part of the first safe country you arrive in do they not understand? I mean the Netherlands must be at least fifteen countries away from Somalia. But these people have made a bee-line directly to Europe. Why? Could it have to do with the promise of generous benefits and respect for their human rights. She says she has the right to shelter! I suppose her other WANTS like food and clothing, are rights as well. No one says anything about what she will contribute to The Netherlands. No one even ask her about her ability to support herself. Apart from the question of whether migrants have a right to stay, most reasonable people would agree that food and clothing are needs, not wants. And respect for human rights is a good reason to come to a country, don't you think? Especially if you come from one that doesn't respect them. \tp
Creating respect for human rights is also a reason to stay in your country and organise yourselves, create groups that are willing to change the status quo....I mean if the blacks in America could do it in the 60’s and 70’s and the South Afrikans in the 80’s and 90’s so can her community in the 21st century. She has all that experience available for perusal on the internet.

Who is owed shelter? Because I want retroactive benefits for being homeless with a child in the US, while all of this was taking place! Unbeknownst to me until I got my feet back on the ground! Now I have a child with autism, and I can't get one single benefit anywhere! I don't understand. Do I have to wear on my sleeve that my father is a black man from Mississippi! Or that I've worked over 25 years to contribute to this system. Why don't people care about people in their own countries first? Only children have a right to shelter....beyond that people have the right to pay for shelter.
There is the thought that what one wants can become what one percieve as needs that become projections for human Rights. If you immigrate and I am an immigrant, one should ask oneself what can i contribute to the host Country? What am I ready to do/ give/ exchange to EARN the RIGHT to be a citizen?

the difficulty is recognising bona fide refugees and assylum seekers from scripted bogus individuals. i have worked as a volunteer myself with refugees and assylum seekrs and its a desperate situation for them. Equally "our" generosity has been stretched. the political and cultural system should be changed in all the countries where these people come from. the system is corrupt. we hve our own corruption too.
