As you know, GG never forgot her birth-Sweden. A generation of Swedes didn't forgive her its departure for the United States. But, she had chosen the east River because her Sweden missed enormously. Each time that she could, she returned in Sweden.She chosen New-York because it was very big and she had a chance than one leaves her quiet than in Stockholm where everyone knew her. For me, she is the greatest actress in the World.

Un grand merci pour votre gentil mot. Les pics colorisés sont rares et peu nombreux. Je pense que la musique de Jean-Michel Jarre (dont je suis fan) "Souvenir of China" déposé sur la beauté de Greta Garbo donne un effet original et magique.

The first picture looks like it could hv been taken yesterday! How beautiful she was! She was & never will be replaced! She has the extraordinary ability to draw you into the scene & hv you take part ! John Gilbert thought that was fine!Louie B Mayer did not (as far as Gilbert was concerned because he wanted to own & control her).She was very independent ¬ controlled by Hollywood!

The colour application is a exercise of style for the fans who would have liked to see Garbo in color, it's an imagination of course because nothing replaces the B/N for contrast.
For me, I would like to see "Camille " in real coulour. Her eyes were so magnificient.

There exists large varietiesof camelia. There are pinks (an hybrid of the Camelia) but at origin, it is red.
