Quite a good draw. I always want as many cross region matchups as possible
One rule for the draw was that teams from the same region had to be on opposite sides of the bracket.
KR look the strongest, then BLG. TES might look the weakest of the top 4. TES vs G2 could have been an upset, here the top 4 is pretty predictable unless huge upset
@@rac8153 yes agree. But personally i actually think T1 will take the MSI Trophy home. They are always underestimated when coming into an international tournament as the second seed. People always forget they are T1

Hard to predict which asian team is the weakest. Maybe TES who could have lost to FNC. T1/GENG are just above the rest, BLG is scary.

Honestly only TES looks shaky, none of the other 3 teams look anything but unshakeable (im not saying TL can win over them). But out of those 4 big teams, only TES has shown signs of inconsistency, i think we're gonna have a great tournament, and may the best team win!
hard to judge since T1 had no real competition in play-ins, and fnc performed pretty well against TES that's why they seem shaky, we've not seen BLG and geng yet

I don't understand why they do this tier brackets thing, draw should be out of lucky and would be way more interesting like come on I know who is gonna win in all the matches. Obviously if you put tier 1 with tier 4 it is gonna win tier 1 and the same with the teams in tier 3, it's just way too plain, they should go back to the standard lucky bracket and let's see who goes against who.

They could only draw T1 or TES but it's like it was destined to be T1. It doesn't really matter though geng,t1,blg is unbeatable for the west. I'm a G2 fan but i stopped being delusional, i don't even have faith to win a single game tbh, against T1 of course i expect nothing less but to get blasted in 20 min games and the matches will be on the hub. Well i guess the LEC was fun.

I hate both the worlds and msi formats nowadays tbh
like there's no potential surprises or upsets anymore, it's just LPL and LCK everywhere, it's boring
yes but ppl are happy cause best teams go forward, they are happy to see lpl vs lck everytime it seems. Also this kind of format and giving wildcard regions less spot are making those wildcard regions even weaker year by year.
Thats more cause LEC and LCS are bad though. If they were good it would be hype

I don't care for LEC or LCS here, I'm a European but I still find having players from across the WORLD at the "WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP" not only the major regions, that includes Turkey, Brazil, Japan and every other "wildcard" region
Worlds became boring to me when they implemented 4 teams from a region allowed to participate, because all I see is just a repeat of LCK and LPL playoffs, that's boring, they all play the same champions, meanwhile wildcard regions can bring a player who plays something we don't see that often like idk Morgana jungle, I don't like the staleness of the meta, I like meta breaking when I'm watching it. I don't care if they lose, they played THEIR game, not a copy of someone else's which is what's happening nowadays.
