    Great video, I've been looking for this exact video for years! This is going to be my winter 2024 project, on my SS.

      Thanks! Definitely not the cheapest upgrade but it really does add a lot to the interior as far as looks!

    I try to find the same video but on a convertible. The plastic panel in rear is difficult to remove on a convertible. Good movie you made!

    Awesome video man! Do these ones have the Auto Locking Rachet feature? I'm looking for replacement belts right now and can't seem to find the model number for the belts with the ALR. Thanks!

    • @EssMotorsports
      @EssMotorsports  Před dnem

      @supersearles umm not sure on the ALR. They operate like factory camaro seat belts. They won't lock out if u pull on them. Like my old trans am seat belts

      @Dave Lombardo from Tasca? Cause I looked at ordering from other places and yes they tried to charge stupid prices for shipping cause the front belts are hazardous

    What all tools where needed :)?

    • @EssMotorsports
      @EssMotorsports  Před 2 lety +1

      Good question! Plastic pry tools, 1/2" torque wrench, I believe it was a T50 star bit in 1/2" socket. I'd just buy a set as u need small one too for where seat belt attaches to seat. Socket set. It was pretty basic tools now that I'm thinking about it.

    Sorry if this is covered in the video (can’t play the audio right now)… but is there additional hardware that is required or is it all reused?

    • @EssMotorsports
      @EssMotorsports  Před 2 lety +1

      Actually the new seat belts all come with new hardware with locktite on them. U only reuse the little bolts that just hold the front seat belts in place. Makes it really easy

      @alejo7891 88 inch/lbs it shouldn't have broke the bolt. It must have been yielded prior. Just tighten bolt with wrench to a good amount call it good.

      I love it I have a set for my front seats. I will install them now that I saw your video. I had them for a year just haven’t had any time.Should only take me about an hour and a half just doing the front. I won’t take the whole panel off I will use an extension for the lower bolt.Thanks
