Best Homemade Crow Decoys

- Crow season in winding down for us and we figured we should try and go out with a bang! We weren't attracting the crows to our setups in previous hunts like we were hoping. Today I decided to make some new decoys to place along with my other ones and see if that helped. Some of the decoys are bought, while we painted some cardboard and some plastic bottles black. We put them to the test hunting in the field and they actually helped attract more crows for a closer shot! Definitely give them a try making them yourself!

The lucky dove flyer, is awesome will definitely fool a hawk, I’m going to use it to keep them away from the baby chicks
I use flat black spray paint, gloss is not idea.
Yeah this was either flat or semi gloss. It looked better after they dried. It was some leftover paint from a room I did.
You never posted a video following up on these decoys ??
They are still holding up. Have done a few crow hunts this year and they seem to still work. I haven't made youtube videos in a while and really should get back into it.

@@tcav6552 It definitely helps. That bit of movement seems to draw down those high flyers
I got that and their actual 3 crow motion decoy, without any motion I feel like they stay just at that height of not being able to shoot!
Why are you killing crows???
They are extremely destructive. They are very smart and have few predators so their population has been on the rise
And there fun to hunt
