Robin x Himeko Clara & Kafka DoT Pure Fiction Stage 4 (3 Stars) | Honkai Star Rail

- Pure Fiction version 2.2 just updated today with new enemy line up and Whimsicality (PF game mode main Buff) " Enemies take 50% more DoT dmg, enemy taken DoT dmg dealt 35% less dmg to our units and after enemies are attacked their action is forwarded by 35%." 3 Cacophony (sub - buffs) are 1). "When enemy is defeated DoT on that enemy have 100% base chance to transfer to all enemies." 2). "At the start of battle enemies are inflicted with Wind Sheer. At the start of each turn they take Wind Sheer DoT dmg and inflict Wind Sheer upon themselves and adjacent enemies." 3). When there is 3 or more Nihility Path member in the team all allies dmg dealt increase by 60% and speed is also increase by 30%."
I was surprise that this Pure Fiction update actually favors DoT Team which is not exactly what banner unit is available right now (Robin & Topaz) or upcoming one such as Boothill. It is highly recommended to take advantage of Whimsicality buffs for easier clear by playing DoT Team or Acheron Team for second node of Stage 4 as one of the Cacophony does favors her.
I would like to apologize for first node run which could have been better with SP management and unit action choices. I did try some runs after this one, but this was the one with highest score so I did settle with this one.
First Node:
I would like to credit @ITYHITYH (ITYH youtube channel) first where I got idea of Himeko Clara team comp. with Robin for first node, team is very similar the difference is ITYH use Huohuo as a sustain where I use Lynx. If you can please do check out his run he was able to Perfect Clear both sides.
I was disappointed as Himeko Herta doesn't work as well for this Pure Fiction update which wasn't the case for many previous iteration. Similarly to Himeko & Herta Combo Clara does works with Himeko for this node as most of enemies are weak against Fire or Physical element or both. With Robin providing team wide buffs as well as follow up attack crit dmg and the frequency of attack from team mates does also increases her energy & dmg making this team quite strong against first node. I will be using Lynx as a sustain to increase Clara Taunt value for her to get hit more. My Clara will be using ERR rope to be able to have better uptime on her ULT and I will be using Cacophony 2nd buff " At the start of battle enemies are inflicted with Wind Sheer. At the start of each turn they take Wind Sheer DoT dmg and inflict Wind Sheer upon themselves and adjacent enemies." as this one is the best for non - DoT team for extra dmg.
Second Node:
Kafka DoT team with Black Swan is one of the best team for this node based on enemy weakness which is Lightning & Wind and enemy types (ex. Dreamjolt Troupe's Beyond Overcooked "Dinosaur Enemy").
I tried both of the Cacophony buffs for 1). "When enemy is defeated DoT on that enemy have 100% base chance to transfer to all enemies." And 2). "At the start of battle enemies are inflicted with Wind Sheer. At the start of each turn they take Wind Sheer DoT dmg and inflict Wind Sheer upon themselves and adjacent enemies." for this team and result was very similar, but for this run I chose first one.
The idea was to focus on elite enemies and have smaller enemies defeated via DoT of DoT blast from Black Swan's. When enemy is defeated all their DoTs will have 100% based chance to transfers to all enemies (including Black Swan Arcana stacks) but, the transfers does not carries over next waves of enemies. Which means this Cacophony buff need some ramp up time.
When enemy is attacked their action will advance which will make them takes more dmg and also attack us more which does helps with energy regeneration.

Fr but I have argenti e0s1 and himeko e2s1 so my first half compensated the lack of points in the second half
@@cuttensleeve The first half counters Clara and Sushang HARD, so getting points is a pain. Even if I scrap up 30k the 2nd side punishes you heavy for not having Kafka/Acheron
I mean that's how literally all of them are though? I struggle a ton with the erudition focused pure fiction (enemies get an explosion debuff when you ult them) because the only character I have who can do good aoe damage with their ult or skill is Herta. I am "punished" because I don't have Argenti, Himeko or Jing Yuan. Or even some of the oddball characters who usually do well with that gimmick like Acheron or Jingliu.
It's a gacha game so if you aren't dumping money into the game you're always gonna be "punished" in some way. Though personally I don't mind as I enjoy a good challenge.
@@StephenTheZ Not all of them are like this. Take the previous followup PF for example. You had blessings which let your non-followup damage stack the buff as well. But this dot one? You have ONE viable blessing and it's mediocre. There is one only for acheron, one for dots, and the wind shear one.

Did you know clara + lynx skill still barely getting hit?
1. it was only inflicting the dot
2. no initial dmg, only detonated dot. it does not count as direct dmg

you either have kafka and bs and managing to get 3 star easily or just play suffering
My best for this team is himeko - robin - asta - avent. 38k. Using clara in this pf is honestly hard. At least Himeko fua when the wb is broken 😢
What great time to be a Kafka black Swan haver (this is the first time over ever cleared a pure fiction with all 3 stars) for my dot team I used triple dot (Kafka sampo black swan) and luocha because of the nihility blessing
I FELL SO BAD TO THAT 1%
I only have Black Swan, no Kafka or RM and I got 40k first half. This PF is purely designed for her and dot characters.
It's pretty unfair when PF are designed to cater to very specific characters. I also tried Clara fisrt half and the drinksmith enemy makes her unrealiable.
