We still don't know if Forrest was in on it. From Archeosuchus' comments about him we may think he isn't, but who knows, maybe Archeosuchus is protecting his associate. For all we know Forrest may be putting an act of being this guy who doesn't understand computers.Furthermore I'd expect someone like him to recognize a hoax when he sees one as this is his field of study. It's almost impossible no one sent him hoaxes before.
And as my last argument, when he says no one would fake these things, it's a bit on the nose and almost forshadowing. Why would he say that? Is he unaware of how many hoaxes have been plaguing the scientific community. Remember Piltdown man? Pepperidge farm remebers. But jokes aside it is a very odd comment which, imo, tells a lot more about this story than what Beaver uncovered.
But there's no way to prove this and he may really just be a gullible boomer who doesn't understand a thing about pcs.
I believe you nailed archesuchis or whatever his name is… now I want to see his response to this video because he obviously flat out lied to you.

The fact that Beaver figurd out the dog slip-up was amazing. The dude I spent countless of hours watching during my childhood would apparently do great in an ARG.
This only proves one thing: Turtle guy is obsessed with Archesuchus' dog and stole the image, then went to Chicago's airport (also known as "JFK airport" as an inside joke) to take a direct flight to Tasmania without the normal change of planes in Australia. Photographed the thylacine on the road and Archesuchus' model is so good that it matches with the real thylacine exactly.
Case closed.

I believe turtle guy from Minnesota flew from JFK airport of Chicagoland (Archy lives in Chicagoland) to Darwin airport of Tasmania in his imagination. If only he said O'Hare to Hobart with a stop in Sydney or Melbourne, his story would have one fewer gaping holes.
Fun fact: Darwin is in the Northern Territory and is the NT in QANTAS.

The thing is, if Archesuchus hadn't posted those photos of the puppet, it's likely no one would have connected it to him. Everyone would have just written it off as faked pics and left it at that.
If he used his brain and not his stupid anger he would’ve posted the pictures before the hoax to make it look like they where stolen but people who put in effort into hurting people they don’t like do not have that brain power

Well I've heard Forrst ain't a Saint either and may (keyword may) have taken other researchers credit when it comes to finding thought-to-be-extinct animals. Some of these claims are on his wikipedia page as well.
