No matter how often I hear her voice I am deeply moved, sometimes to tears.
She stands there and sings. No distracting dancers in the back ground. No distracting gestures. She just sings. I will have her sing at my funeral. I'll hear her from the other side.
One of the good things about listening to songs in a language I don't know is to concentrate on all the things done so well, conveying mood, the expression and clear voice, velvety and never forced, which are always lovely. Aleksandra never disappoints- she deserves far more of an audience though.
