The guy in the cowboy hat is Chris Rupp who co-founded the group in 2000 with his brother Adam (the beat boxer). He left the group in 2016 and Adam Chance filled the empty spot. If you want to be blessed, go to Chris Rupps channel to see some of his solo work and collabs. Amazing Grace, Angels among us (ft Tim Foust), Long black train (with Tim), it is well, crown him with many crowns, etc just to name a few.

If you noticed the guy in the cowboy hat, that is Adam Rupp's brother Chris Rupp. He and Adam started Home Free in 2001 I believe it was. He left the group in 2016 to go solo. One of my favorites is Chris & Tim did a cover of Josh Turner's Long Black Train. Austin and Tim have done My Maria from Brooks & Dunn. You are just starting the Home Free journey my friend! Enjoy! If you want to really hear Tim's range then listen to their version of Mayday by Cam.

Heartfelt. That's why I said before, what draws me to them is that they dont do just any song because somebody wants them to. They do songs that they believe in and that's why they're music is so beautiful. They arent trying to put false feelings into it. They perform with true emotion and you can hear it. The second Adam is actually, Chris Rupp, Adam's brother and an original member who left for his own career, and then Adam Chance joined the group.

This was the first Home Free song I heard back in 2015 and I was instantly hooked. Brought tears to my eyes and yes I rewound that ending part by Austin multiple times that night lol.

Though I was raised Southern Baptist by my Grands it not what I practice now. Yet not gonna lie, the hymns/holiday songs are fricking amazing. Such writing/scoring has never been topped. As I may not believe or profess the Christian faith I can abosolity not deniny the beauty of the songs! I will always cherish the words and voices in absolute respect!!

Don't have to be christian to be moved by their rendition of this song and their absolutely beautiful voices. I've got tears in my eyes from this. There's only a few hymns added to my playlist, but I think I just found another one.
You mentioned "angelic voices" so I have to recommend one song to you I think fits that bill. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For by Peter Hollens feat. Home Free was recorded remotely during the quarantine, filmed in and around each guys home area and is just so beautiful. It starts out with bits from the previous video they'd done together before the shutdown then moves on to the chorus with the addition of about 350 Patreon fans of Hollens and HF who were asked to send in from all over the world. Truly awe inspiring!
Must watches are definitely "Everybody Walkin' This Land" for Tim's lower notes & "Mayday" for his higher register. One of my favorite song is "In the Blood". BTW.. Love your channel.

Enjoyed the reaction. This song was from before Adam Chance joined the group in mid 2016. The baritone (cowboy hat) here is founding member Chris Rupp, Adam Rupp’s brother. Chris left to pursue other musical endeavors and helped picked Adam Chance as his replacement.

I became a "Home Fry" about 5 years ago, and always have enjoyed their music. Then in Sept. of 2021, my wife went home to be with Jesus. Out of the blue on CZcams, your channel popped up and hearing you speak the word and encouraging others to live in Love helped me through a hard time. God has used your videos to make me realize, I might be in the world but not of the world. Please keep up the good work, spreading the Good Word. I pray you and your ministry continues to prosper.

This song is so special to me, thank you for reacting to it. My Father poassed a few years ago and he was a mans man. Served in the Pacific during WW2 on a Destroyer that had left Pearl a few weeks before the attack. I never saw him cry until the first time at a Christmas service the chior sanf Ol Holy Night. Nothing hever hurt my Dad but this song always touched him. Again ..YThank You.

The guy in the hat is Chris Rupp, Adam the beatboxer's brother. They started the group. Chris went on the produce, etc and was replaced by Adam Chance, who was in the How Great thou Art video, which by the was recorded by drones in the Austrian Alps. Good job.
Austin is great on this as well as Tim...he was singing musical theatre on a cruise ship where they were guest performers. You really need to check out their live performance of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables--the video is titled BHH and DAHM. Any of their live performances are great and sound as good as the video...usually better because of their interaction with their audiences. They do fun skits like Guilty Pleasures Derailed and the Story Time with Tim skits are absolutely unparalleled...story Time with Tim Watch Me Whip Nae Nae is possibly the best! Every time I watch is just as good as the first!

Yes, they do not have a “lead singer”. The person who sings each part is determined by who does it best. If necessary, they vote. Based on what you were just saying about being together, you should listen/watch Undivided and Everybody Walk-in’ This Land

The fellow with the hat on is Chris Rupp (not Chance). He is Adam Rupp's brother, they our the co-founders of the group. Chris left the group around 2014 (and is putting out his on music) and Chance took his place.
I've been a Home fry for a long time now and it doesn't matter what they sing rock, gospel, country or RB&B they knock it out of the park.

This may be bad timing - and knowing my luck it's been mentioned - but I highly recommend checking out O Holy Night by David Phelps. Trust me when I tell you this, you will have never heard anything more holy and sincere than David Phelps singing O Holy Night. And in no way am I knocking Home Free; big shout-out for their rendition. Two thumbs up! But definitely check it out. You won't regret it.
