    God's way of revelation is wonderful indeed. I read a biography of a man who smugled bibles into the behind the iron curtain. The man used a vw bettle as they were ubiquitous and it had a construction the allowed smuggling. He was in a small town in what is how Bosnia and his car broek down and he didnot have any money to fix it. He prayed for several days as you could not send money in those days. He kept praying. The next day a man came up to him and the man said he was a Christian and God revealed to Hiim a man would have a such and such color vw and that the he should give the man with the broken vw a certain amount of money.. Chance encounter no.

    I can’t help but recognise in those niches what I have seen in the Catholic Churches that I have been in that house statues of Mary and men who they call saints. Even in the cemetery where my son is the Catholic section has them carved into headstones that also have figures of Mary in them. 😞

    I appreciate your efforts in bringing scripture to the physical places where these events took place. It really helps me contextualise the teachings of the Bible. What Christian denomination are you members of? What version of the Bible are you using for reference in your videos. Thank you. Paul

      Our team is made up of simply non-denominational Christians working to provide compelling and free Biblical video to people all over the world. Appian Media's content isn't dictated or financed by any specific religious organization. We are using the English Standard Version for most of the Bible reading within the series. Paul White
      Paul, all Bibles are good, provided they have the canonical 66 books. Bear in mind that the Hebrew Names for the Father is YHWH, yod hey waw hey (Yahweh), and the Name for the Son is YAHUSHUA, yod hey waw shin ayin.
      An example of this is the Hebrew Name of Isaiah the prophet which is Yeshayahu, yod shin ayin yod hey waw, a name with two parts: The second part is yahu, the Name of the Father YHWH. The first part is Yesha, from the verb yasha, which means to save.
      Both names mean the same: YHWH saves or YHWH is salvation.
      Blessings.

    Temple mount is fort Anthonia a roman build structure ,the old Temple was in the city of David and it was completely destroyed even the fundation removed

    • @appianmedia
      @appianmedia  Před rokem +1

      There are various reasons why this is not so. 1) The biblical record states that the Temple was built "on Mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared to David his father, at the place that David had appointed, on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite." (2 Chronicles 3:1). This site, throughout documented history, has been identified as Temple Mount. 2) Anyone who has personally visited the site knows there simply is not enough room in the City of David for the temple platform. The archeology at the temple mount and recent excavations in the city of David simply will not allow for the temple to be built there because there is not enough room, based on the dimensions provided in scripture (II Chronicles 3) Recent excavations at the "Parking Lot" of the City of David prove the temple was not there. 4) Archaeological evidence clearly indicates that in 70 AD, the massive structures on the Temple Mount platform were destroyed and burned by the Romans and thrown in massive chunks from the platform. It is illogical to think that the Romans would have done that...to their own fort.
      While the detailed study of history and archaeology is beneficial, we must not let differences of thought distract us from the most important thing here: the life-changing nature of the biblical text and our response to it. We pray that our videos and resources can help draw us all closer to God and to His word. Blessings on your continued study!

    Man you're trying too hard. Trying to use every minute detail to prove that Jesus is Christ simply shows that you do not really believe in his divinity. The true test of divinity for Jesus is the validity of his teachings, not some silly saying. Every single child is a bringer of God's salvation, that is a perfectly normal thing to say about a newborn, even back then. But if Jesus' teachings are valid, then his teachings come from God, that is the one and only test of divinity there is.
