Complaining about cost ? You haven’t checked the 75 grand dashcams yet… yes there are cameras even more expensive than this. Just some money more you will be able to buy an industrial grade camera which is used in movie production…. 😂 I still don’t understand why a proper dashcam cannot be made by these companies , my iPhone worth just 50k rupees records better than these stupid rs. 75k cameras in both day and night, and iPhone can do a lot more things than a dashcam. 😂 .

The Nexus 4 Pro isn't as good as the A229 Pro in terms of video quality, but it is close.
I find the Vantrue has more saturated colours than the Viofo, but i like the usability and aesthetics of the Vantrue more.

Pre attached 12 v adapters for car socket is a pain..it keeps the socket occupied. The stickers are cool and unique to Vantrue

No. I wouldn't recommend using any leftover smartphone as a dashcam, primarily because continuous video recording will heat up the smartphone a lot. And since smartphones run on battery, there is a high chance of the battery getting bloated/getting burst due to heat

Viofo comes with cpl filter.

Vanture N4 Pro vs VIOFO A299 Pro - which one is better?
A229 Pro although more pricey than N4 Pro, gets Dual Starvis 2 sensors for front and back and a Starvis 1 sensor for the cabin camera. So technically, it has the advantage.
How good is the number plate reading capability on the rear camera in both day and night conditions
It's good in daytime. Decent during night.

How easy are these dashcams to remove ?
Yesterday a thief broke into my car by breaking the front door windows and stole air purifier ,charger and cables but fortunately wasn’t able to pull out the Android system which I have installed… so it was safe
I wonder if dashcam would have helped in such a case if it was there with parking mode on
Because it’s high chance …. Thieves can pull out dashcam as well if they see it … and we won’t even have any footage as memory card lies in the camera itself
What do you think…. Can any dashcam help for such adverse situation like probably have videos backed up on cloud or something (though they might need internet connection for that)

What is the logic of reading number plates at 40 to feet away?
Good question. In case of hit and run cases, where some other car bumped your car and doesn't stop to check the damage, rather tries to flee, the camera will be powerful enough to catch that car's number plate helping you identify the culprits later on with the help of this number plate readability. The farther the camera can read the plates, the better the chance you have.
@@traveltechyoutube Too far fetched. The car will be near wen it bumped. Number plate can be read. If the car bumped from side and then anyways number plate will not be seen.
You can never predict with 100% accuracy when the next bump/accident/incident will happen to you on the road, and from which direction. So the logic being, better to have the capability to read number plates even at far range and never need it, than not have the capability and face a situation where it was needed.
Now personally you may feel it is far fetched and I respect your opinion, not necessarily agree with it though.
