    First of all thank you for being a man of God! You are appreciated! Finished cleaning and painting a complete set of cultivator arms for one of my cubs this spring. Working on sanding and painting a set of wheel weights. 😂😂

      Hey Tom
      I hope to get them painted by this weekend. Got to squeeze planting onions in there too.

    Did the same to mine I really like the idea of making the pins greaseable I might have to do that to mine

    Progress looking great! Can't wait to see them all together. Be interesting to see if you can tighten up your old arms.

    Hey Joey, I think I mentioned this last year on one of your videos (who knows) that the IH 144 Cultivator Operator's Manual explains how to keep these bolts tightened up as they wear. ( pictured on pg. 13 and explained on pg. 5) The problem I've encountered with the ''short arms'' is if there's excessive play they will crack beside the bolt heads! ( Cast metal ) You're doing the right thing, imo. and will make for some laser focused cultivating if your shanks and feet are fairly rigid! I've been wanting to do some rebuilding myself on my 100 and 274, of cultivator feet, but it hasn't ''materialized'' yet, lol! Keep up the good work, buddy! I think Farmall 51 posted a video with this Manual.

    Great video buddy, you will love the grease fittings the arms will last 2 lifetimes with them.

      @Jtwes  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Hey John
      You know I haven’t thought about that. They do last a long time dry and adding the fittings will double that. lol

    Great job. Enjoy it. Taping holes or running a die-nut over a bolt is soothing as glass beading a part, I enjoy both. I have a pile of old IH attachments to blast and paint , one day maybe , if not someone else will do it.
