I am 35 and never dated. I would love to have a family to be a mom. but I am trusting God plan. I spend my time serving at my church with the pre k kids and greeting/ welcoming people in Church. I am all in for following Jesus . I come from a Hispanic family and sometimes i feel like they see me as a joke or there is something wrong with me. I am finding joy in serving and following Jesus. At my church i have learned to worship. At 35 i am now learning to read bible. I want to know more about Jesus Like jp has said marriage is not varsity and single is not JV.
Hi Friend! May the Lord bless you! I want you know that I will be 41 next month so my last relationship was 5 years ago. I'm a Christian woman who still waits for God and wants to marry and have kids sometime if God's Will. I want to encourage you to keep serving and following Jesus.
And thank you for addressing thr church and how they leave out singles!!!! Its so sad but there is nothing out here in these churchs helping us and we are STRUGGLING!!!

I hear you, but when you desire sex you cant go get that from community, or anyone else. And I understand even if you have a spouse doesn’t guarantee sex either but at least at some point when you want it you can have it. The biggest struggle for me is that aspect… like everything else can be worked around except that.

Hey guys, thanks for the episode. Genuine question - how much should you actually be praying for marriage while still single? If the desire is there but there are no prospects on the horizon… I get that singleness is that time to be used in service to the Lord; but should you also be praying for marriage at the same time and if so, how hard? I have friends who are fasting and praying for a partner 1-2x a week. I’m sure the Lord sees and will answer, but for myself I have never understood the conviction behind this despite having the desire for marriage.
