Badiashile is terrible, Fofana didn't even bother, Madueke looks like he's lost, Sanchez made good saves but his passing is bad. Chalobah and Gallagher definitely won't save us but damn do they give effort at least.
Badiashielle runs like a pregnant woman, james and fofana are washed, noni can't pass to save his life, and just because Sanchez is willing to pass from the back, doesn't mean he's able to. Mudryk actually looked like he can make good passes in, but 90 perfect of our play goes down the right side. I've never seen a defensive group so slow. Honestly one of the worst things I've ever endured watching.
I agree with everything apart from Reece being washed. I think he just had to cover for Fofana a lot because Fofana was all over the place for some reason. I know that Pre-Season is about testing fitness, trying tactics, seeing which players are optimal for the season... But I can't help but feel it is also an indicator for the season ahead. I am tempering my expectations even further following yesterday's result. How are we getting rid of Chalobah?! It is beyond me. I stayed up and paid a fiver to just watch an abysmal performance. I took my son to the game … the result was subpar. The first half wasn’t as bad as the 0-2 score line looked, but the back three was always vulnerable to Celtics’ well planned counters.

I took my son to the game … the result was subpar. The first half wasn’t as bad as the 0-2 score line looked, but the back three was always vulnerable to Celtics’ well planned counters.
