    These kits look amazing!
    Although, you could invest in a small rubber mallet to help safely hammer the pieces in. I'm glad the hammer/washcloth method worked for you, but I was still scared you were going to hurt a piece because you couldn't exactly see where you were tapping. 😅

    It looks like you could use a rubber mallet to help with assembling. Their great for hammering wooden pieces together without damaging them.

    Just found your channel... Love the diorama! Did anyone find it funny that she had a towel with a picture of "Pebbles" on it and she was hammering away on the furniture... Get it? "Pebbles and Bam Bam"!!!

    That bed is awesome!!! Unfortunately at the time I'm watching this video, Doll Furniture Studio is taking a break. However, I can still plan, for when they open! I wanted to know, please, what are the measurements of your comforter? And I love the idea of the fleece backing. It looks so cozy!

    You should add this video to your smart doll playlist. Was looking for a part 3 but not yet. I'd like to see the little kitchenette with the backsplash using your tiles. Seems like it could be like a little hotel room with bed, desk/table and chair area. If you attach the backsplash to the cabinets you could remove it when not using. With limited space I'd try to make pieces that are double duty. Maybe a cabinet for a tv (a cell phone or tablet on its side inside) that reverses to show a fireplace that will be fun for the holidays. You can put fake brick or stone on the fireplace with egg cartons, an image of a fire, or if there is room a tealight or two with twigs. That way you'd get a tv and fireplace with one piece of furniture

    I know I’m late but this is so cool and pretty! Idk if there are more parts of this but if there are I’ll go look after. But if you’re still wondering how to make the room bigger I personally would just extend the floor out and not the walls.

    I have a suggestion/question
    Couldn't you make all the acsesures you want, BUT remove/replace them at any time with the other one's?
    Like, if you edit the windows out of picture's you could actually make it look like you're in different rooms in the dorm by putting the different acsesures between the photos?
    You could technically make an entire apartment, you'd just have to move thing's in and out a lot depending on what room you want the photo to be in
    Just a thought, Love your videos!

  • @starzoner8750
    @starzoner8750 Před 3 lety

    Idea: if you leave the bed in two different halves and put the head of the bed frame on top of the other half could it be used as a high seat? Or just use it as a little couch and coffee table? Idk if it’s work but you’d probably need to cut foam to the length you need for a couch and cardboard or something for the coffee table top. That would be a thick coffee table too.

    somebody get her a jeweler's mallet if she's going to work on more of these things.
    a jeweler's mallet has softer rubber for the head so you don't ding up the stuff you're working on. ~usually used on softer metals like gold, silver, pewter and the like.~
    easy enough to find. just look up watch repair or jewelry making, and there's usually listing for the mallets among the rest of the tools for such things.

    For those who are creative and use wood instead of foam board, create a space for an old smart phone and use the phone as a flat-screen t.v.

    • @dbseamz
      @dbseamz Před 3 lety

      At 1/3 scale (the scale Smartdolls use), my smartphone looks more like an extra-wide laptop screen. A tablet (iPad or other brand) would make a nice flatscreen for a Smartdoll though.

    Dear the doll fairy I have a question can the smart doll wigs fit on smaller dolls like Barbie? If not any suggestions on where to get Barbie wigs?

    • @dbseamz
      @dbseamz Před 3 lety

      Smart Doll wigs do NOT fit Barbie--a Smart Doll is pretty much twice the size of a Barbie. I'd try looking for wigs on Etsy.

    Could these work for 17” Disney dolls? 👀

    • @dbseamz
      @dbseamz Před 3 lety +1

      You would have to consider the scale. Smart Dolls are 1/3 scale and modeled to resemble slim adults at about 24" tall. 17" tall in 1/3 scale is the height of a child, are the Disney dolls shaped like children? If so, the furniture should work, it will look like a child using furniture that's built for adults. However, if the Disney dolls have more mature proportions the furniture won't work as well...it'd look like either a tiny adult on regular furniture or a regular size adult on giants' furniture.

    Would like the headboard better if you didn’t put on the solid board..makes it hard to notice the beautiful design.

    • @dbseamz

      Might not be structurally sound that way though

  • @KindraShalynnHaimberger

    You need a small rubber mallet for projects like this. I have no strength so my rubber mallets are my friends.
    Just read other comments and it appears I'm like the millionth person to mention a rubber mallet. 🤦🏼‍♀️
