How much will it cost to buy groceries at the supermarket in Thailand Pattaya. In this video we are looking around inside a supermarket at food prices. If you think about living in Thailand or moving to Pattaya, you might want to know the cost of life there. We are in Central big c, in central Pattaya close to Soi buakhao and not far from Pattaya beach road and all the nightlife areas. You can purchase street food here and tasty fruits and vegetables at very decent prices.

Is this a fancy / gourmet supermarket? Prices are more expensive than i thought, almost comparable to a US Walmart. $1 for water and $2 for a single avocado is insane given that the minimum wage is about $10 a day in Thailand. 1/10th of the USA.

Hi! It's a normal supermarket, not a fancy one. 1.5l of spring water costs about 0.5$ and if you buy avocado that is not cut yet it is 1$. Sometimes they have huge avocados for 2.5~3$ for each. It's only the noodles and rice that are really cheap here. Locals usually eat a noodle, rice or vegetables dish from a small street restaurant for 1~2$.
