I understand that there is more of a difference live. But regarding the work in general, there is no difference between them only in vibration, screen and operating time? I’m also looking in the direction of Light, I’m only interested in a portable one, but I’m afraid I’ll sell out, I can’t decide whether to take a serious one or Light right away..

    • @TwinFlyDSW
      @TwinFlyDSW Před 9 měsíci

      @@starlight3966 It is not too bad. The graphics were quite clear. The brightness levels are a bit on the dim side. I can comfortably play the oled on the lowest brightness (with lower background lighting) whereas the lite can be a little too dark at lowest brightness. There where a few moments where I had the lite on max brightness but could not see the screen too well with bright background lighting.
      The weight is great but you will feel the heat from the rear while you play due to the smaller form factor. The oled also heats up but the joy con seems to keep my fingers away from the heat zone when playing in tablet mode.
      I recently got my oled back from Nintendo service. I am noticing much longer battery life from the oled. I find I have to put the lite on charge a lot quicker than the oled. The oled screen has good power management and it is also charges the joy cons in tablet mode.
      If you have a choice between the two I would stick with the oled. If not the oled I would choose the og switch over the lite.

It’s just a better portable and a lot more comfortable (and it has a real D-pad!). The screen on the OLED is nice for sure but the actual image quality is the worst of the three due to the largest screen.

    • @c17slug
      @c17slug Před 11 měsíci +7

      @@Neurogenesis1251 the Switch plays in higher resolution while docked. If a game isn’t 1080p while docked the Switch dock will upscale it to 1080p and your tv may or may not have an upscaler of its own. Regardless of which Switch you have the image quality is the same when playing on a tv (minus a Switch Lite, obviously since they can’t dock).
      Handheld mode is different because the Switch models have different screens but the same resolution. I think the Switch Lite is 5.5 inch, the OG and V2 Switch is a 6.2 inch, and the OLED is a 7 inch screen. They all have a 720p screen and the games run in the same resolution regardless of which Switch you have. So you get a sharper image with the a Lite over the others since you have a higher pixel density. The Lite has a 267 ppi, the normal Switch a 236 ppi, and the OLED a 209.8 ppi. Basically the larger the screen in handheld the less sharp the image when it comes to playing portably on the Switch. The OLED has the least clear image but makes up for it by having a much more vibrant screen (which is why I said a Switch Lite OLED would be amazing).

      I have a 1.5 year old white Switch OLED.
      The battery goes from 100% to 1% in around 5 hours and 20-30 minutes.
      My settings are:
      -played in handheld mode
      -vivid colors on
      -airplane mode on
      -auto-brightness on
      -brightness level at maximum
      -volume level at maximum

      @@KiraThe7th.personally, I think some people, play tricks on the viewers. Maybe they turn brightness down on 1 model, to make people like other more. I know it sounds silly but wouldn’t surprise me. Same as most people say Oled switch is better in every way and a few people say the Oled vivid colours look horrible and too saturated and they also say the Oled switch looks ugly because you can see the pixels. Hard to know who’s telling the truth and who’s trolling.

      Switch consoles use different LCD panels (different manufacturers or perhaps calibration?) so it's basically a gamble which one you get. This is true for all versions of Switch. Some of them appear warmer while some of them appear colder. Colder = better whites, while some prefer the warmer look with yellowish whites...

    It's basically the same on all units, you'll see it for about five minutes, before your 15th stick breaks and you give up to play something else.
    Zelda: Broken of The Weapon was bad enough for this, but I think Tears of the Kingdom made the durability worse.
    That said, the smaller Lite screen makes many games look slightly sharper on it compared to the others.
