Red dead 2 is by far the best and most emotional gaming experience i've ever had. I enjoyed every minute of it. :)
such a shame so many adhd freaks couldn't get past the opening mountain sequence for being too boring and slow paced. This game ain't for everyone but the people it's for it really nails the experience.
@@guitarman0365 exactly. Especially the adhd COD players arenât made for RDR2. I loved it from the slow beginning till the end. I love the transition between chapter 1 & 2. Still play it in my free time.
too bad its too fucking big for my laptop to handle. The witcher 3 is like 4x smaller
@@dericmederos1514 witcher sux
i cried when arthur died and was mourning for 3 days. after 3 days i restarted the game to play as him again lol
Im listening and dreaming about the day I will buy a piece of land far away from the city, surrounded by mountains, the forest and the rivers. My small cabbin, my dog and my woodworking workshop. Building staff, hunting with my bow, fly fishing and growing my own food. Oh man, what a wonderfull life would that be. What a beautifull dream...
Just recently started making my own axes blaksmithing and woodworking! Itâs great to go back to traditional manhood
@@keepingtheoldways I would love to give a try one day. Blacksmithing it is quite interesting skill. Really usefull if you have a small farm in the middle of nature and want to repair something or just craft some good knives or axes. Sorry for my Bad English.
What a dream that would be my friend
"Easiest" to accomplish in Alaska. Not that easy to do in Gov owned and privately owned mountains.
The way that you said âI willâ means this dream will come true. Small victories win wars. Day by day.
Hearing this while also constantly coughing from being lightly sick with sore throat. I am definatelly feeling like Arthur today.
As long as you aren't actually dying
@@ChibiPanda8888 Not quite I reckon but I did get a strong dose of antibiotics and allergy medication something that could have saved Arthur too.
Interesting story... I caught Whooping Cough -- badly -- for 2 months in my first playthrough on Red Dead 2. When Art got TB, I was completely freaked out personally... yet totally immersed.
True story. Talk about life imitating art.
@@cloudshifter Arthur had TB, which is remarkably easy to cure nowadays
Played RDR2 for the first time in early 2023. For me the most complete game I've ever played. The open world, graphics and attention to detail, music, characters (Arthur Morgan is the best video game character of all time), story. Just absolute perfection...
Wait until you see how amazing John Marston is in RDR1
This is amazing, I recently found out I will never get the chance to travel to see the beautiful wonders of the Rockies because of my neurological condition. Its things like this that give me the hope that I can be there in mind and spirit instead :)
Hey man, thanks for the comment! I'm glad you can find joy from this
Take care of yourself! I wish upon you love and happiness.
@@aawells07 thank you brother:)
You will be there one day
Seek out a recreation therapist. They will help you and say you can.
Man, this is SO good. It's very hard to find a decent western ambieince, since most are overdone and stupid. I wish you did more of these!
Your wish shall be granted!
@@StevenLynnMusic Man. This makes my day!
This is very talented the way he interchanges the parts and the notes he plays. Everything about this is just perfect
By "overdone and stupid" do you mean every other one has the Clint Eastwood theme in them somewhere? lol
I hear that man. The world needs more ambiences of this level. Even with a little bluesy vibe atimes, it's still not distracting.
It's a good thing on one hand that they're hard to find, it means it's not done for popularity. But it's a damn pain to find concept music that's actually good and not generic
Listening to this, brooding atop the southwestern hills of Oregon. Among the yellow grass and under the lodgepoles, where whooping and knocking of a mythical legend echoes through the holler. The ferns run dense through the thicket, as the high grass through these high hills. Twilight in 2 hours time, the crickets sound their backwoods symphony, amidst the golden sea of grass and sun. The wind rides as gently as the condor over my ridge as I write. All things flow, and so too will the creek once the land of eternal rains harken again it's namesake.
yeah same
@@nobody_gtk LMAO
Same, but I was moving along the Deschutes.
My home, Arizona, has a nice variety of canyons, lakes, forests, deserts, and plains (depending on where you are at). I certainly take my home for granted.
@@mr.majestic8713 sorry sir I wonât brag again.
Man i lived in Tahoe for a year. Everywhere you look is so beautiful, and the people there are like "yup, theyre mountains"
This is the music I play in the morning when I get up and begin my daily tasks, its very soothing and serene
That's awesome! I'm glad you enjoy it
I don't know how many times I've replayed this over the last couple of weeks while working. I sincerely hope you do more rdr2 themed pieces! You are an awesome musician
Thanks a lot man! I am working on some stuff as we speak.
Seriously. I kind of want a 10 hour version, as this is so calming at work.
Tbh the second part with John was even more memorable for me because of the travelling around the empty and beautiful landscapes. That's why I started to really appreciate even the little things that happen to me while travelling. I found out about so much simple yet interesting things to do, like fishing or hunting the legendary beasts or just sitting and looking at the dawn. Sometimes I came to a house in the very west of west-elizabeth to look at the lake.
I also really enjoyed a quest with the writer that Dutch admired, I read through all his books for like 3 times. They made me think about nature and the way of life I want. I know that this isn't a serious philosophy book but damn. I sometimes dream about going to some remote place to live in my own house by lake now
I played this over a video of someone free roaming Ambarino in RDR2. It fit perfectly - well done!
To the person reading this. May success , peace and happiness be with you. Amen.
I canât wait until I get my own ranch in the mountains and can sit around and watch my cattle and listen to this.
Steven Lynn I'm a writer who listens almost exclusively to ambient music whilst working and I have to tell you your material is some of the very best I've come across, especially from something that isn't an actual film soundtrack. Keep it my man. Masterful
Are you writing a western by chance?
Fellow writer here. :)
Freezing cold western morning in big valley with bird chirping while youâre trotting on your horse
Iâm gonna start listening to this when I draw or read or sit on the back porch with a beer. This is amazing
Just think about driving through the America West, seeing all these beautiful sights, listening to this.
I just finished my term paper while listening to this. With the music and ambience, it feels pretty good and relaxing.
how did it go
@@semtux8615 I passed back then. Working on my bachelor paper now!
@@LPSilentHunter :DDDDD hell yeah man, what field?
I finished rdr2 recently and this really brings me back to the beginning
i love it i listen to it when i invest for my retirement
Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 the first time was so amazing and was for sure my best gaming experience. It was 4 years ago crazy đźâđš
Iâve spent the last 3 days building in minecraft while listening to this! Itâs incredible I also shared it with a few friends and they all loved it!
Spent my whole life close to NYC until a study abroad in the Schwarzwald which made me realise I needed mountain air and water.
Just started a new job out in the Rockies and sipping some iced whiskey :]
I live in the west. nothing more calming than being in the high pines in the mountains. this sounds like home.
I used to live in AZ, and this also works for the high desert we have there too.
Nearly tied with my favorite game OAT (Skyrim) and was such an eye-opening, emotional, interesting, and overall personality forming experience. Waking up on a summer morning, playing some RDR2 and drinking a Black Coffee was something else. Truly, an amazing game. It is profound in a way that a 10 out of 10 rating couldn't do it justice.
Insanely good. I think I need to play RDR2 tonight.
I have listened to this 7398 times
One of the best ambiental tracks that I've ever heard.
Really puts you in the mind of someone in a lone wilderness.
This Music makes me Emotinal on another level. Feeling Homesick to a place ive never been
Love the animal sounds & the sustained notes. Is that you on the guitar?
This is absolutely brilliant.
Yep, that's me playing. Thank you very much!
@@StevenLynnMusic Brother this is incredible. Greetings from Argentina. Love.
@@StevenLynnMusic They need to hire you for RDD 3 - it blends in meticulously well.
@@StevenLynnMusic you composed this??? oh my god truly brilliant.
@@StevenLynnMusic I'd love to get some tabs on some of these cool little licks...
This literally cured my anxiety.
Very good. Relaxing and truly western. Thank you so much for making (and then uploading) it, Steven Lynn!
Brilliant! The music is very pleasant, and the landscapes accompany it perfectly.
This is just amazing. Thank you so much for putting this together!!
There is something insanely peaceful and calming about this. Like you can just feel it in the soul.
My favourite piece of music. Come back here every day.
Thank you so much for this vivid displaying of RDR2 vibe... you are extremely talented and your hard work shall be remembered!
This changed my life. Thanks for sharing. Iâve already blasted your other uploads.
Just listening to this one again after a few months and just gotta say wow, I totally love it, that little bit of tension in the background is just excellent, really captures the feeling of heading into the mountains for the first time and the promise of excitement and adventure that is around the corner. Fantastic work. This is possibly, dare I say it, even nicer than the actual RDR2 OST.
Perfect ambience without sounding too dramatic! this is something i've looked for since playing rdr2 many thanks and great job!
I've been listening to this while reading western novels, it's perfect!! Thank you so much for this
I definitely appreciate you making this playlist/ video. All the other western ambience vids out there feel cheesy and not what I was hoping for. But, this ambience really takes me back to RDR2 for sure â€ïžđ. Makes great background noise when I'm reading one of my western novels đđ€
I appreciate you listening!
This is a masterpiece. Thanks for uploading this. Such a beautiful atmosphere. Calm and piece in the morning. Watching the sunrise and all the life forms waking up for a new day.
Iâd love to visit the American wilderness but the government wonât allow me unless I take a pointless and very risky medical procedure. Might have to settle for a spaghetti western.
Man I really like all the ambience videos. This definitely sounds like it fits in Red Dead! Your tracks should definitely be used in the next game! I couldn't express in words how much I like and appreciate these. I honestly listen to this often just to sit and relax... đ Please, please please keep making more of these wonderful treasures!
Steven, I'm happy that the Gods of the CZcams Algorithm blessed you. These western ambient music videos are truly a masterpiece. I could never get such deep relaxation and emotional movement out of any Red Dead Redemption Ambient Music Video, but out of yours a lot. You always hit it right on point. You deserved to be seen. Keep up that good work!
Been listening to these for awhile here and there, still when its been a long day nothing soothes quite the same. Thank you đ
This makes the perfect soundtrack as I read "Lonesome Dove" - love it.
nice! a 4-hour long Western Ambience playlist. Perfect for what I'm reading! Should be able to listen all the way through the four videos by the time I finish the book đ
Love this! Awesome job, Steven.
Beautiful video, fantastic images, they taste of freedom, wild and rude things but so familiar. RDR inspiration is the bestđ€đ€©đïžđą
This track is so good, all your Western Ambience's are. This one has this peaceful sound-scape, but with an air of slight tension. Like it's the morning of some important day of providence.
thank you for making this, ive had a really bad day and sitting down and listening to this has really helped me relax.

Thank u so much for this excellent experience! Even my son who has trouble relaxing really enjoys this one!

Enjoyed this and a couple of others of your ambient series. Hope you do more. Very nice to have on in the background.
Serenity . Thank you. This is well delivered.
What a playlist ! Thank you !
Love the progression of photos and sounds from dawn to dusk...great work!
Thanks! So far you're the only one to bring that up
Whoa this is excellent. Great stuff man!!
Epic!!!!!!!!!!! So good. Love the birds sounds.
Not sure what I used to do without these beautiful sounds lol.
This is absolutely amazing and I love it so much! So relaxing....
Fantastic. Thank you for creating and sharing this!
correction: @Steven Lynn: these are ALL fantastic. I've saved all the videos in this series now and I listen to them often. So great for working and getting into a wonderful state of flow. Your talent is immense. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
Sounds great. Great backing track while doing some work.
This reminds me of my home, I used to live in the rocky mountains it was beautiful, but now I live in Florida which is just a swamp. I miss the snow capped mountains and mountain lakes and canyons with amazing rivers. First chance I get I'm moving back, probably near Coeur d Alene or Kalispell
Best of luck! I'm a native Floridian and would never consider moving because of the beautiful springs and beaches here but I truly miss the mountains with all my soul. Traveling to hike them is long overdue for me. I can't imagine the feeling of homesickness you must feel.
OMFG BRO YOU MADE THIS??? You deserve an award đđ

Currently reading Blood Meridian with this playing in the background. Perfection. đđ»
This is great for meditation! I've never played any of the RD games, but this makes me want to.
I'm glad you find it useful! IMO, RDR2 is in the top tier of video games.
You should really give it a try, the game's amazing!
I really recommend them! I was a little iffy about RDR2 at first but once I got past the tutorial chapter it instantly became my all time favorite game.
@@wickermann I agree completely, it was difficult to get a handle on the controls and stuff but after that it became a favorite
You have great style with the guitar. Love the phrasing and especially the huge rests, it's a great vibe.
This is fire! You nailed it!

A cool winter wind catches my soul
And breathes into me the calm knowledge of my final destination
But I will not lament
For I have walked this earth as a man
And when the redemption of this season comes,
I taste the gusts of poetic rebirth,
I will have come to know it as my own
This is some great stuff man.
I play rdr2 in vr and it's just wonderful.
I have great difficulty following the plot because I always go around the map to look at the beautiful views !.
T o be fair I do that in the regular game as well it's so beautiful
I didn't know I needed this. Thanks algorithm! Also... I need an entire playlist of this plz
Edit: Holy shit this is all your original work!? Fuckin PROPS dude. You are incredible
Thanks! I'll have another video like this coming out next week.
Beautiful work, thanks, its calming my inattentiveness and I'm actually getting some work done!

Very nice thx. Using this for working time.
For me, this musical instrument is perfect for accompanying book reading on a sunny afternoon in the summer, especially if you're staying in the southern states. And Red Dead Redemption 2 is an amazing game, I enjoyed playing it, and Rockstar did a great job with the performance, quite satisfied with their game series.
1 hour without ad interruption, getting deep into this wonderful ambience. Perfect. Thanks!!!
