Hi folks, we made it to Abu Dhabi, a city that though the capital of UAE is perhaps still quite undiscovered as opposed to its vibrant and more frequented sister city, Dubai. However, in the four days that we spent in the city, we discovered there is much to soak in, be it culture, food, shopping or sightseeing. In the first vlog of this series, we begin with a visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, an epitome of architectural splendor and spirituality that welcomes all, before dining in a Japanese Izakaya at Yas Island, an experience that diametrically opposite to the first also illustrates the vibe of a city that accommodates diverse interests and activities. We also take a drive to explore the downtown marvels of Abu Dhabi.

Good afternoon dear Kripal - Wow that’s a wonderful statement by Jyothi . Indeed a beautiful mosque . The restaurant ambience at Daikan is amazing. Is it a Japanese - Korean restaurant ? I love Kimchi 😋 Boss’a bowl of Veg Ramen looks delicious. Presentation of the prawn dish was class . Your friend’s pad is super awesome . The chandeliers were magnificent 👌👌 I would like to visit the Yas Marina GP circuit . The Al Bahar structure is iconic . Good narration by Jyo about all the places that she took you folks around . Abu Dhabi is simply beautiful 💯💯💯 . Wow the next Vlog is gonna be interesting . Did you attend the evening Belly Dancing program. Anyways thoroughly enjoyed this super fabulous vlogs . Hi i just wanna know if its allowed to bring tripod for phone for taking a picture specially if you are alone?
I think it would be allowed, but you can check on their website. What they are very particular about is no recording of audio, ie. talking to the camera and therefore microphones of any sort are a strict no.

I think the chandeliers are Moroccan and the big carpet is Iranian made.
The chandeliers are made by Faustig in Munich, Germany, you will find details here. www.szgmc.gov.ae/en/chandeliers As for the carpet, which incidentally is the worlds largest hand knotted carpet, made mostly of wool imported from New Zealand and Iran, it was designed by an Irani artist and made by the Iran Carpet Company.
