A quick tip, when using a hoist you might wanna hold that handle with both hands, cause if for some reason it slips out of your hand it might hit you in the face knocking a couple teeth out. Trust me, I know. When I was a apprentice my chief told me the same thing, and just so happened that one day I didn't use both hands while releasing the tension and sure enough my hand slipped off and I got smacked in the face. Luckily it didn't hit me in the mouth but it sure as hell made me see stars. Learned my lesson after that.

This would work with a hoist made like that. But most places I've worked dont have hoist that will let you do that

Take step up and turn in ur belt so u face ur work u will get that grip out further worst comes to worst u get flat footed Every one want to be a Lineman till it’s time to do real Lineman stuff 😢😅
