Hey! I am not an incoming freshman, but i will be joining duke as a grad right after my undergrad this year! I am very keen on making undergrad friends too!
My question is how do duke undergrads think about being friends with grad students? I was a commuter so i really did not have friends or any social life.

hey!! thanks so much for your comment and congrats on duke grad! hmm i'm not super familiar with the undergrad-grad relationship except for the TA's that i had. i do admit that (as a freshman) there weren't too many opportunities to connect (or at least that i know of)... but! regardless let me know when you get on campus!! because i'd be happy to grab coffee or be friends!! ask any questions at all and i'll try to answer them as best i can:)
hi! how many food points do freshmen get for wu for the entire year? I’m not sure if the 900 points was for a semester or year
hello! it's around 950 points a semester, and this past year, the unused points for first semester rolled over into second semester. hope that helps!

hi! thanks for your comment! this is definitely the question of the century bc it is so hard to give one concrete answer. my biggest tip would be to dive deep - don’t be afraid to be imaginative and messy (i just remember my first few essays being so shallow lol). i’ll probably make a video with application tips so stay tuned for more specific, tangible tips:)
