I'm a farmer of 1500 acres in Scotland I had 40 cars parked in one of my fields with people walking their dogs on my land with pregnant ewes in the field while we were in lock down so I covered their cars in shit and dug out a big ditch and didn't allow them to get there cars for a week... Never had a problem since...Will release video when I get a good amount of followers..uncut version 🙂
I am jealous. I only have access to about 6 yards of manure at a time so I don’t think I could have gotten all 40.

I drive by a cattle feed lot on the way to work. Every few months they fertilize with liquid manure and the smell is almost unbearable from the highway. Can't imagine what this must have smelled like up close. Big thumbs up to that farmer for spraying around these idiots.

Well UK laws are complicated to say the least... it would take 28 days to get them off with police and official way, ie when they are campers, unless you have specific thing in place against trespassers, when people come onto your land they can always be removed straight away by force. But different lands have different regulations. So your garden has a different regulations to your agricultural land...

That's such a dumb statement. You should be thankful we live in a world in which farmers are compensated fairly for their work. By your logic you should also be thankful for nearly every other job that supports the farmers which is thousands of jobs. The farmers couldn't tend their field if they didn't have the irrigation provided by water utilities or the equipment designed by engineers. A lot of people have important jobs farmers aren't special at all.
They are kind of saving the farmers land as fracking is going to permanently poison it.

@@thebaconsonful I've got family in Kansas where their water was already sketchy, now after fracking it's undrinkable. To say nothing of the regular earthquakes that rumble their acreage. They're miles away from the drilling but share in the same aquifer so there's an argument to be made where the oil and gas industry's effects aren't localized to the property where the drilling is taking place.
Mostly it's a nice secondary source of income farmers take advantage of, which is their prerogative until it effects others adversely.
I really wish we as a society would move towards renewable sources and begin to wean ourselves from these practices. There's just too much money to be made today to do the right thing for future generations of tomorrow.

@@ghrndez see that argument has never sat well with me... as Americans we are a motivated and resourceful people with a penchant to overcome all types of adversity. Done so throughout our entire history... I think if we made a serious effort to wean ourselves from oil and gas and leaned into it as a nation we'd be better off... that doesn't mean completely switch over tomorrow that means start to lay the infrastructure to begin to switch where possible straight away and continue to work to strengthen renewable resource technologies as we go forward.
This animosity towards renewable energy is not helpful. Windmills do not cause cancer for Christ sakes, that's insane...
Think about it wed no longer interested in the middle east like we are we could have honest relationships with nations instead of tippy toeing around with the likes of Saudi Arabia or Syria and any number of other diplomatic nightmare relationships that reflect poorly on what American values are at least thought to have been.
