    Like you say, there's lots of mnemonics ....though most fall into the same hole of focusing on 'common' pathology processes, and overlook all 11 physiological systems.
    Then, when you apply your DDx, you think in terms of disease names.
    This immediately blinds you to physiological processes, and so you miss more obvious and frequent causes of chest pain.
    i.e. the most common cause of acute chest pain in A&E is non traumatic facet joint sprain.
    That's a musculoskeletal cause, that is often initiated after exerting oneself or putting a facet jt through an awkward range of motion, such as might occur when reversing a car, and looking over one's shoulder.

    1 in 5 = 1 divided by 5
    1 divided by 5 X 100 = percentage = 20%
