3 beautiful goals. I especially liked the last one. He stepped on the gas once and 4 defenders couldn't keep up with his pace anymore. They even tried to block him but he simply tanked it. He was like a combination of Messi and Rooney. Too bad I was only 6 years old back then. Not like I would have remembered it anyway since I only started watching football in 2003. But I still remember Ronaldo in Real Madrid. Seeing him in his prime though is phenomenal.
Yes, you can sincerely say that only he could have scored that goal. A bunch of players would have the strength and speed, a few rare players the skill and speed, maybe one or two the strength and skill, but he was the only one with all three.

Son goles de potencia y velocidad increíbles, pero no es ni remotamente tan técnico como Messi, Ronaldinho, Maradona o Romario. De hecho, a Mbappé le falta un poco más de potencia para ser su clon.

Tecnicamente era maravilloso, no era Ronaldiño en cuanto a magia pero su conduccion en carrera y su habilidad en espacios reducidos si que eran muy superiores. En este sentido solo he visto un jugador con mayor habilidad en la comduccion en carrera y en regate en espacios reducidos, Messi. Pero al menos mira mas videos de Ronaldo, si quieres de su epoca del madrid donde ya no era muy rapido y veras toda la capacidad tecnica que tenía

The main thing I take from watching older football is just how much defending has improved recently with teams defending as a whole unit, much better organization of the back line too. Many of these goals and chances were created exploiting school yard level of defending. Having said that though, I still think prime R9 would cut through any defensive line at any point in history.

He only stayed in Barca for one season. But that was arguably his very best. He had one great season in Inter too but then got severly injured. When he moved to Real in 2003 his prime was already over. But he adapted his playing style and became more of a classic 9. Good positioning combined with his still sublime technique helped him score 20+ goals for 3 seasons straight in Real. This might not have been his prime but he still won one more ball on'dor in Real. He might only have played one season in Barca but I'm sure Barca fans still consider him a legend dor playing so phenomenal. Though we could also say that we've never seen R9's prime due to his injuries. Who knows, had he never gotten injured then maybe we wouldn't debate wether Messi or CR7 was the best player of all time.
The second best number 9 I have ever seen after Romario. Not at the level of Messi but a great player.
