Tescos Delivery Goes WRONG: STUCK On CAMPSITE!

- The campsite comes together to try and get a Tescos delivery van out of the mud after the driver gets it stuck. Lots of dirt, lots of mud and even an injury to Dan but we got there in the end. Then it's time for Dan to open a new toy and get ready for some manly jobs.

I drive for Tesco and tbh all the home delivery vans Asda,Morrisons,Waitrose are useless on anything but tarmac! Even not level gravel the vans get stuck. She shouldn't of given you grief though!!

Far be it for me as a non driver but
would it not have been better if that
particular corner which looks like it's
prone to flooding was topped up with
more gravel, it might have possibly
helped the driver, plus a bollard on
the corner would keep any drivers
from mounting the grass verge
which in this case was obviously
soaking wet, just a thought.🤔
We where stopping at the Shambles in Anderby Creek and yes we got spot on weather and cant say enough good things about this little park up. Its a right gem. yep Monday was horrible, we came home early. Mazzy you will not go Android for long lol Good luck.

With your solar lights you might want to add extra water proofing with clear silicone rubber around edges of the solar panel and where the plastic edges meet.
Why? We don't get moisture here at the Nurseries 😁

Good team work moving the Tesco van. I think the Nurseries need to change the shape of some of the driveways they need more curves.
Some pitch angles are not very good but it's not a problem usually. Just terrible weather lately.
If you put the old candle and jar in the freezer it will loosens the old wax then you have a lovely storage jar So I have been told x

Never a dull moment from the Nurseries from a Dead parrot sketch to a stuck Tesco van. It's a good job you was their Dan to sort out the situation and keep everyone calm. Just when you said you had nothing to film it all kicks off. People should do as you say you was the Camp warden for a day after all, and keep off the grass and that wouldn't have happened.

That cleaner for the BBQ looked handy, it’s a nightmare job normally, looked like it did a great job. Drill looks spot on too - all setup!
Looked like there had been a lot of water down - looked like every little helps with the Tesco delivery. Hope you’re ok though Dan. Vans and wet grass don’t mix do they!

Poor woman delivery driver, good effort in trying to get her out. She shouldn't have turned into a Karen though am been so ungrateful of the help
She seemed happy once we got her out.
People please remember when delivery drivers make mistakes etc. that they're not just delivering to you, they might have 50 or 150 more stops to make and have to deal with traffic and some real jerks sometimes, for cheap wages. They shouldn't be rude, though.
Then they should drive better.
I think Tesco should reimburse your delivery costs, otherwise charge them for breakdown assistance, as you stated, it's the drivers responsibility on to deliver an order and where to park.

Bit late to the party I know but I’m binge watching old vlogs. The driver was definitely a Karen like max y said, it’s not just because it’s a campsite, after rain like that any driving over grass or soft ground would be the same, she was told, definitely her at fault

You’re right Dan if the Karen from Tesco had reversed back to her sharp right she’d wouldn’t have had such a tight turn to her left and wouldn’t have dropped her wheel onto the grass. But if she hadn’t got stuck you wouldn’t have been pushing and fall to your knees in the water……I didn’t laugh……honest.
Karen fell in the mud too.

A bit of misjudgment on the part of the Tesco delivery driver, getting stuck on the grass. There was plenty of room to avoid it. A woman driver, enough said ! Not that I am biased against women. I don’t think you’ll see her back there again anytime soon! Never a dull moment at the Nurseries I hope the weather improves for you before long. 🌧😀🚐🖐
