    Interesting example of how "physics works" in another sport Steve. Although the actions seem simple in actuality it takes considerable skill to blend the individual "steps" into a smooth swing. Well done.

    Very smooth, had to watch again. At the age 74 having
    An uneventful round tried that tip and whoa 254 drive!
    Usually get just under 200. What you do put pine tar on your club? My playing partners asked.
    It was effortless. Couldn't do it again during the round but I think you woke up something , tks

    Loving the thoughts you provide. I’m having a great season as a result of implementing. One thought. In order to backup the handle (whip the shaft) your left forearm had to rotate. So isn’t the swing a rotation of the body and a rotation of the left forearm ( the mental thought of backing up the handle means the left arm rotation will be unconscious). Thanks again.

    Hi Steve, I could not see you bowing your wrist on the 3 video takes, purely because the golf swing is so quick, so would bowing the wrist as one starts the back swing work out with the same result?

    Hi Steve, another pole drill. Beauty. I note how much your left leg works when the hands are ‘reversing’ the handle. The faster the hands, the more the left leg must resist the forward momentum of the club. Your thoughts? cheers from Oz.

    Steve did Mike Austin have a narrow stance? I am just wondering as it appears that way? I get better distance right now with a wider stance with my driver, but wondering if a narrow stance helps shift and turn quicker? Thanks for all you do.

    Steve, I have a question regarding the forward hip motion, after watching the video series between Mike Austiin and Mike Donaway, Mike A drills home that he want to see your lead hip go way out almost looks like a bow, you don't seem to have that dramatic of hip movement. I’ve trying to train myself to move my forward hip like Mike Austin talks about, am I going to Extreme or am I on the right path? Please advise? BTW, I’m a member.

    Hi Steve, this technique has certainly gained me some club head speed, going from 80 to 87 mph with my 7 iron but I hook the hell out of the ball according to my Mevo plus. I do have a strong grip but don’t really want to change that. Any ideas?

    • @Inmotion70

      Weaken the grip and/or rotate more out in front of impact like a David Duval.

  • @sanjuanjun
    @sanjuanjun Před 3 lety

    I don’t think what you’re showing is a wrist action. It looks like supination of the left forearm coming from the proximal radioulnar joint and not from the wrist joint. The wrist is in flexion then extends during the supination at the “slot.”

  • @buddywheels
    @buddywheels Před 3 lety +2

    I’m sure this is good stuff but the lack of any close up shots plus exposure problems (shooting against bright sky resulting in you being under exposed and dark) means it’s not as clear as it could be.

  • @tlim1945

    not easy.
    if you whip through, you think the ball is going to hook way left.
