I guess being able to pay rent is a good reason to put up with the occasional demonic scream coming from your daughters room
her mom is a total loser
eh, good enough i think
lol
i mean if i had a demonic room mate that pays rent why not
@@user-qr4jf4tv2xi love the idea of that. a literal demon but you put up with them because they pay rent
"My Little Sister Makes 2k a Month Streaming, and Now She Pays All Our Rent?!"
Coming this fall...
An idea some mangaka has probably already come up with if we are being realistic
2k a month is still so little
@@NationalistsRuinAmerica Right? I'm not even middle class and I make 6-8k a month
@@Lolvi6 net or gross?
Gross
The Forest Elders are her mother's parents. Grandpa used to be the provider for the family, but is gone.
What does that mean tho, is she in a niche subculture?
@@Chairman7 It's an in-character name for them. Vtuber "protocol" seems to be based on how Hololive does things, and since their whole schtick are idols, elements of Japanese idol culture have slipped through, e.g. first streams being "debuts", retiring their character being a "graduation", or referring to their model's artist and/or rigger as their "parents", etc.
Oh, I actually thought she misspelled "foster"
So what the heck were her parents doing that they had to rely that heavily on the grandfather?
@@weissshizuru3687 ever seen a middle aged woman working as a bartender/waitress/cashier? That's basically her mom's situation, and suddenly realizing she's over 40 with no more daddy, no more chances at a husband with a good job, 3-4 kids and an elderly mother to support.
This was soo wholesome and sincere
I am now suddenly even more pissed at twitch for doing the 50/50 thing
do we even know if she got the 70/30 cut in her contract? Most streamers in the last few years did not get that
Say it with me:
TAXATION

THEFT
@@Chris3s even if she had that contract before it changes now to when its renewal time its 50/50 split plus you gotta run more ads during and also pre-roll unskippable ads. Terrible twitch.

My fuckin’ heart, man
She's a good daughter.
this is the kinda reasons to give streamers money
And to show some appreciation for their hard work and efforts.
People usually don't understand it when it's for bigger streamers, which sure, giving XQC 50$ is kinda redundant because it's not like he's struggling, but smaller streamers like Shondo who produce content almost daily sure deserve to be rewarded for their time and effort.
@@hecatedraws obviously xQc needs more money man, he’s a struggling streamer with 30 mil in his bank account lol.
@@PastPositive Listen man, the guy has a gambling problem alright? It's up to me to save him
Preferably through ways that don't take the cream from the top, *Looks angrily at Twitch's policies*
Bless her heart. She deserves all the success she gets.
That actually kinda made me tear up. I'm glad that she's got a community that takes care of her and she's able to do the same for those close to her.
It makes it 10x more wholesome in her vtuber character.
As a poor kid I understand this so well , good on her for finally making it and having enough to give back to her folks
Cheers lads may we too before it's too late
Shes so precious, I'm so happy that she makes enough to be the main provider, she deserves the money for all her hard work.
Shondo 💜💜💜💜💜
I hope she makes enough money from streaming to buy herself and her family a house, having to pay rent forever is a nightmare
I'm running out of Shondopilled videos. I have found myself here. Thank you.
No prob! I'm just another clipper to provide you guys more Shondo contents
Gives hope
She should invest so if they end up purging anime streamers they have a backup income.
Anyway here's wonderwall
Wait did her dad died? No im sad now.
Some of the comments say it's her Grandpa
Shondo is such a good girl.
I don't get imouto or loli, but I find her incredibly funny. I hope she gets to afford to buy a new family home instead.
Blessed be.~
Thank you for the clips btw (I don't think I have commented before), I found her through you. 🙌🏻🌟
Thank you, I'm honored to hear that.
Wish it was an uncommon story, sadly I know how common it actually is, and not just for the UK, a lot of people are struggling to get enough income to get the basics solved,
Our wifey is smart with her moneys. You love to see it. Especially of it goes towards mama shadow and the willow tree not having to worry about not having a forest home. 😌🙏
At least the streaming does help out and also thumbs up helps as well the more people do thumbs to help you I'm please to help to keep that channel going strong and a little of something my generosity is helpful as well I never ask for anything back out of my main goal to help other in need make me happy to show some body cares❤❤❤❤
Thing do happen shondo I think everyone should help her out times can get very hard just to make it in life but a little donation would help you out
Glad to help
Shondo is best girl 💜
Shondo is now the Forest Elder. 😊 Whatever the fuck that means...😑
I also don't know lol, I'm waiting for someone to correct me so that I could change and correct it by putting captions.
Forest Elder is probably his IRL father.
@@kuroblack_ well from context i assume its oldest male in the household. maybe grandpa or uncle. father if she is unlucky
I believe she said "foster", which probably means she was adopted or something, though I'm not 100% sure since I'm ESL
or maybe "first elder" idk
From the way other streamers have mentioned it, if I remember right subscribing for Twitch only gives them 50% of its cost, while they earn a larger percentage from actual donations. Also bits give them better percentage. I’ve only heard it twice in the past couple years so I could be misremembering. I forget which but one of these more readily hits their bank account (maybe immediately).
Cute outfit.
A very sweet girl indeed
It's my house, my rules, mum!
she let's the british out with "council house" but then follows up with "couch"
so cute
OH.. shadow. I felt this one.
briish houses so expensive
It’s deliberate.
The UK government is trying to genocide native Brits.
Such a good girl😢
🥺Man whos cutting onions
What a good girl 😭😭😭
Owww we saved our wife
how could anyone dislike her?
😭💖💪🏻
Wait she screams like that with a family in the same house???💀💀💀💀
She pays the rent, it's basically her house now
200$/month was like 80% of her income 😭😭 I feel that. I totally feel that cause it's 125% of my income.
Damn house prices in England really suck ass
And now imagine if she had 70% of the subs income instead of 50% 😂
...Does she mean her father?
or her grandfather?
Grandfather. Her father is schizophrenic and has never really been in her life - in fact she mentioned in a stream that when her mum was trying to get child maintenance he publicly *in court* disowned her.
It's heartbreaking for her family to charge her rent.
We need to protect her.
I just need to add I'm glad streaming has helped her in many ways. I hope she does a CZcams stream. I wouldn't mind superchatting a few times.
Growing up poor since I was a kid I saw my family struggle enough that by the time I was 14, we had moved like 16 times by then. After becoming a working adult living with family (5 plus me) I paid rent and other things to help all of us because if I kept the money for myself, I felt like an asshole and trash. Now all of them make 60-70k plus a year as truckers and own houses. Most likely she feels the same sense of duty. It’s rude to assume her family is ‘charging’ her as if they want her money, when the reality is most likely she loves her family and feels responsible as (probably) the top earner to help out.
it's also not about that. parents charge their children rent for different reason or the kids just like to help out because of family growing up poor, in my case my mom charges any of my siblings who have to move back in with her money for rent as long as they have a job because its incentive to get your shit together and get your own place, sometimes it's not always a greed thing. from friends have whos parents let them move back in rent free they don't leave for a very long time i mean why would u? free rent is free. my mom is very anti "living in ur parents basement in ur 30's" kinda person.
It's just how the situation is for her, if she can't then they can't afford to keep the place, it's sadly becoming more common that people just simply cannot find a way to make ends meet otherwise
I'm a bit confused. Her grandfather was the main income? So what the heck has her father and mother been doing for all the years she's been alive ? She would have ended up in a "council home" ? Never heard of that before. Sounds like a group home or something pretty low income. But it kind of makes me a bit concerned on what the heck her own parents have been doing since she was born. Or was she only living with her grandfather?
Sorry but I also don't know much about her, I hope someone who is a long time viewer would answer your questions.
She's British, Council homes are government rentals if I remember the term correctly, To say they're cheaply build would be generous, those are absolute hovels with minimal maintenance done in the past 30 years, and generally you'd have a room in them with 2 or 3 other rooms also being occupied by others,
Further North you go the worse it gets,
And not too uncommon for a single family member being the only one that could bring enough to the table to cover things,
Not a long time viewer but a bit more knowledgeable on the UK
Shadow lives with her grandmother (Forest Elder), mother (Mama) and, if I remember the answer she gave me correctly, 4 siblings: one younger brother (Forest Tree) and 3 younger sisters (Forest Critters). I don't recall Shadow ever mentioning her father - he's most likely dead too.
She sounds American, but then she says things like "council house" and "kilos of chocolate"
