I am sickened that anyone who is recuperating from an illness has been bullied by the press and media in such a way that she even feels the need to come forward and apologize to you crazy people. All of you should be apologizing to her, Prince William, and the children. As an American, I think you all have lost your minds. You act like you own the Royal Family's souls. The Princess has a right to privacy regarding her health.
nobody in the USA cared until it turned out she used AI to make a fake picture for mothers day. Just begs the question why a public figure has been hiding since December.

Problem isn’t picture was edited, problem is the lies. It was taken in November, we know this by linking the clothing to an event they attended, Kate wore white too, edited to blue, George wore same jumper, shirt edited to change colour to blue, Charlotte wore same shirt, put on a cardigan for photo, Louis has changed his top and shirt but trousers are same. William has photo credit. It’s the statement that’s the big issue. What were we supposed to see in this image. What was the intent. It was to mislead. If they had said, here is an image from last November, then it wouldn’t have mattered, but they lied.

So, apparently, Prince William was quoted by the news media that he took the picture a few weeks ago, it's Autum, I don't know about you but I don't see full green foliage on the trees where I am. This is so ridiculous that people have taken this photo to extremes of nitpicking. The"missing ring" at home she's a MOM with her children she's not princess Catherine and still recovering from her surgery. The media is just mad that they couldn't profit out of this photo!! Such an overflated disproportionate exaggerated spin regarding the Royal photo with Princess Catherine & children for nothing. The reaction was unreasonable. I'm impressed by Princess Catherine's brief & simple response, putting the ludicrous conspiracy theories to bed. A simple honest apology confirming the use of photo editing, of which many folks make use of. Even professional photos are edited. No excuses, the Princess got straight to the point, politely & with grace.
It wasn't an official, professional photo sent to the media. Prince William took it. Kate did the rest. Media knew it wasn't an official photo. They went overboard & unnecessarily fueled the hype. That right there is called media unprofessional mania willingly creating sensationalism. Gets views & ratings up. Now, the media are starting to sound like the Markles. Nonsense spew & in search of attention using something innocent to spin into drama! 🙄

People keep saying everyone uses photo filters. But these are not photo filters. Its putting things that are not there, or taking away things that are there, thereby distorting the reality of the pictures.

Agreed, Getting three children to pose for a family photo is challenging at best, even if you're a royal. And the telephone software available to correct or combine elements of "good" shots is extremely common. I think in taking this shot themselves, they made a mistake, but it's no more than that.
