I bought the Stella McCartney triple lapel blazer from a 2nd hand site and the seller missold it based on the size - it felt more like a 12 not a size 8 as represented. Because it would have cost me a fair bit to send it back and make a loss, I dropped it off at a bespoke tailor who worked to reduce the overall size from a few different areas, including the main part, the shoulders, as well as the length of the sleeves and overall length. It cost a bit to do but was worth it considering the original cost but also I managed to buy it at a steal so spending a bit extra to make it fit me was a no brainer. The tailor marvelled at the architecture of the triple lapel and the fabric used. Well worth it!!!!

@ Susan Wilkinson. I know Trinny said the long, green patterned dress is her favourite. I thought it still looked too tight around her diaphragm. I wondered if the side panel insert could have been sewn with stretch shirring to match the sleeve feature.

Wow! Azucena is a magician! So clever...my mum changes some of my clothes for me but not to this level...I loved the skirt..perfect! Plus, the green floral dress. I always love color combination of brown and blue. In summer, blue jeans and tan leather accessories, in winter, blue sweaters and brown bottoms. I want to see how Trinny wear these colors.

Oh yes, finally I meet Acuzena (in my mind A-Susannah) I tried googling her once as I was so impressed with her skills. A very sustainable way of curating your closet to either learn altering skills or find a craftsperson to do it for you. This was one of my favorite videos.

Adding a patch of fabric along the seams to expand it is a very good solution, whether it’s for the sleeves or bodice. 👍 👌🙏🏻

I loved the dress into a skirt !
I loved this video. Hmmm favorite would be the skirt loved the cut and the pockets with no bulking. 2nd would be the secret panel in the side seams to adjust the sizing gradually. I can see myself adjusting a few items in my wardrobe. Wish I had known these tricks earlier as have seen and passed up gorgeous dresses and other items cause they too small or tight. Thanks for this. Ideas for other video's : How to take structure out of over structured coats and jackets. I bought a 3/4 tweed like pink and grey coat. It has a collar that folds down and buttons above the chest 3 buttons down. It has small shoulder pads and the shoulders feel too wide and boofy like I could bump someone over which I wouldn't. It fits a little loose and doesn't feel tailored enough to give shape. Please help us make coats and jackets more feminine and tailored. P.S Love your tailor she's awesome!!!

I love the skirt with the jellyfish pockets and the green floral dress with the inserted panel. Not so keen on the orange kaftan

Would really like tips on dressing a body that is bigger than a size 18/20, and not shaped like an hourglass.

Yes, to making that dress in a beautiful PINK💗 love the fish and jelly fish as the pockets. I have a dress that is amazing but due to the girls it doesn’t fit properly but the skirt of it does , I literally but a sweater over it. But I will be altering it to a skirt. I love changing up pieces I love but don’t wear.😊

I am a tailor/seamstress and I alter EVERYTHING that I buy! Cheaper items can be made to look so expensive after good tailoring. Everyone should do this before they think of throwing pieces away.
I would like to have some good advices to wear/combine a wide leg trousers when you are not very tall. 1.63 m 63 kg size 12/14

oh Trinny ... all this time I thought your seamstress' name was Asusana, when it's actually Azucena ... try pronouncing it correctly. It's very frustrating to closely work with someone who always pronounces your name wrong.

Very inspirational. I have really really white legs and cant do those boots and summer skirts look. So I just stay in Jean's or leggings or long skirts all summer long. And now that I'm 51 I'm even more scared to show my legs. I want to be fun and cool but feel I should just wear a burka and be done with it. Any shows you could do on what to do with legs as you get older?
