- I Beat a Shiny Only Hardcore Nuzlocke of the Indigo Disk i did this in Pokemon Violet and man these double battles are absolutely scuffed. i have never lost this many shiny pokemon i a run before so please enjoy!

The double battles in the DLC made me realize how my style of pokemon battling is essentially just brute forcing my way to a KO. I have been too busy shiny hunting to battle the elite 4, but some of the random trainers out there go crazy. There is one where I was looking for a shieldon that had a cinncino that only had multi-hit moves and all I could do was watch as he hit 5 times each turn until my whole team was dead
The focus, commitment and sheer fucking will to not do just a shiny only run but a *hardcore nuzlocke* as well is crazy, you’re by far one of my favourite CZcamsrs out there and your content a,ways makes me laugh. Have a great Christmas!

I didn't know about that Crystal Pool thing, guess I have to go do that now. I was trying to complete the Dex, already found three Blueberry Shinies, no sandwiches. A Sinistea, Magmar, and a Shiny Galarian Slowpoke, now Slowking.
I found shiny araquanid, doduo, alolan grimer, and wild shiny Tera rhydon that I didn't notice till I ran into it cause of the yellow glow Tera has

I completed the DLC in Scarlet now I just have to catch 200 to get the new paradox Johto dogs. I found out there's something that happens AFTER you visit the Crystal Pool with Terapagos back at the school. Your school, not Blueberry.
Golett was actually the first shiny I ever found. It was a gen 5, 1/8192 full odds shiny, and I even managed to catch it, but I dropped my DS in the excitment, and my game crashed before I was able to save the game :(

My shiny only run has taken over too much of my game to the extent where I'm just putting off the story to keep hunting. Got my own Shiny Beldum yesterday and honestly it was such a hard hunt purely cause of the lighting and reflections making everything look shiny. Fortunately I got lucky and it came home half way through my first sandwich but dear god I had to gamer neck so hard.

@@ItsRJ_YT You too it's a really great shiny. Hunting steel types in general is such a pain in these games thanks to reflections, great job finding that Duraludon as well, it took me a couple sandwiches to find mine
My shiny only runs steel type was archalidon.

RJ I would say Drayton is a callback to Drayden. They both dragon trainers, and they have the same color hair, eyes, and clothes
Im also doing this but with a lot more extra rules to preserve my pokemon because of the lack of areas which would imply a lack of encounters

I loveee double battles you can just most of the time take advantage of flying typ and ground type immunities (electric and ground) and abuse them to make you unstoppable!! Keep up the hard work and motivation in the nuzlockes!!!❤
This is true but when the battles have all good Pokémon it makes it quiet hard not to take a death

Haven't finished the video yet, but I'll be super impressed if you beat this as a hardcore nuzlocke. Those double battles were no joke. Even just doing a regular play through I got my ass kicked quite a few times by Amarys and Drayton

I had so much trouble with that stupid flying time trial-I've given up for the time being XD
this video was mad entertaining! i just wanna say for us low volume listeners the music is basically non existant compared the commentary, the video was sick regardless and it could just be a creative decision but having music a little louder would improve the watching experience a lot (like i said tho, super entertaining either way)
I’ll take note of that as the editor. It’s kind difficult to pick good music while also making sure it’s not too loud or soft. I’ll make sure to try and get that right next time 👍

They made the ai really smart in the dlc, it targeted the one with lower hp since it 2asnt immune to the move
